Loved the jazz tune in the beginning of this flick ... I also fondly remember Carol Ohmart in the horror classic "House on haunted hill" .... also want to mention that Carol Ohmart had a beautiful body 👍

The opening theme is similar in style to Elmer Bernstein's "The Man With The Golden Arm". Bernstein set the trend and many followed, which wasn't a bad thing. I, too, love the theme.
yeah -- it's the best rip of Elmer's "The Man With The Golden Arm" i've ever heard, yet still retains a little bit of originality.
Yesss! One of my favorite movies.
Not to mention the odd snatch of Bernard Herrman's Vertigo score here and there.

PizzaFlix--Another home run. The acting was just good enough to carry the disjointed plot. Carol was hot.

Carol Ohmarts performance was A list quality. Without having to do flashbacks of how she ended up in the mess she was in, you can tell she had a good heart. This was a great example of crime doesn't pay and be careful of who you get mixed up with or can trust.

Not a bad movie, worth watching. It has its moments. At around 56:00 few people knew about addiction in those days, even dam sad watching this scene now.

Good movie
Carol Ohmart was a strong performance. The rest of the cast was decent; although, I knew not one. If you like TV shows like: The Hiway Patrol etc, this movie is on parr with it. This is another winner from the Pizza Man.
I wonder why Ohmart gets all the flowers here. Imo Jane Brooks ist way hotter. Great Film, great Cars. Thanks Pizza!

Fascinating film. The CEDAR HILL STATION and GROCERY is also somewhat of a 'star' in this flick. Located on Route 66 between Tucumcari and San Jon New Mexico, it still survives today but sadly, is an abandoned but often photographed ruin. I stopped by there on several road trips in the mid 1990's. Here is some brief video footage of an August 1993 visit to the old and long closed-down location.

Good B or C movie but at times plot makes no sense, the teenagers had a chance to drive off in the suit's car and leave him and the junkie gal stranded, instead they disable the car. leave the suit and his gal alone, and have to walk thru the desert. Meanwhile the suit and his gal simply walk a mile to a gas station. Hot summer heat, young chick falls into stream, instead of being refreshed she complains of being cold and wants a fire. More but I don't want to spoil more. Even so good for a B or C film.
The whole point is to just enjoy the movie.
Movies are to make you think fragmented and non critical. If they were to realistic the copy cats would never be caught by the real police.
