If we wanted to pay for the daily maximum for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, then how do you do that?

You don't need to do anything differently, just keep tapping your credit, debit or opal card and it'll only charge you the maximum for the day. Note the airport train stations aren't included.

The domestic and international stations at the airport were paid for privately, and from memory the company put in quite a bit for the line generally. So the private funder is recouping the cost of its investment.

You guys should make it easier getting the remaining money back for foreigners. Don´t see any technical obsticals. Its just that the Opal guys are "topping up" their income. A bit of a scum from my point of view.

Nowadays an Opal card is not necessary. All transport which is Opal enabled can use any contactless card and mobile wallet to pay for transport in Sydney and greater Sydney, Newcastle, Wollongong and Blue Mountains. Some exceptions are private operators in regional towns which don't accept Opal. Children might be the only caveat since child opal cards do offer the discount which by default would be charged at adult fare if they used a contactless debit card.

@@Thetuber83 when the opal came I was surprised that I really wanted one like next level thing stuff back in 2015 but with the phone thing not so sure but its better than buying the tickets everytime, that's for sure
