They have had nuclear weapon capability for decades. They successfully launched their first ICBM that can reach anywhere in the USA in 2006, and the thermonuclear version in 2017.

This material is so dated, the 2017 sanctions ended almost all legal businesses. The Panorama Museum in Siem Reap has been shut since 2018, North Korea took a huge loss on the project; 99% of the North Korea-owned restaurants outside of China are also done (interestingly, there's still a branch in Laos though)
