The Devongunsmith Diaries concept was conceived by me during lock down, and the premise was to be able to perform work without a fully set up gunsmiths workshop, but rather, using just the Cottage Kitchen Table, a few hand tools, some cordless tools, a table vice, and other small DIY tools.
While the channel is not specifically intended to be a how to guide, it is mainly for entertainment.

Used to use old copper hapennys on the breach face,hold the breach upwards,pull the triggers and if the hapenny dented the ceiling called it all good,as long as the firing pins not to long or it’ll punch through the primer,good for testing the strength of hammer springs as well 😀

It is not necessarily wanting to do repairs but as a retired engineer it is interesting to see the quality of items that are normally hidden.
