Super glad to see youâre playing this again! This game has a new update coming in the fall so when that comes out you might want to start streaming for viewer levels. There will be a ton new unique levels once that update drops
@RaiJolt12 yeah I think that Darby should stream this game to like switch back in between super Mario maker 2 & mega man maker so that a way we wonât have to watch and get tired of Mario maker all the time we can always have this game to watch to and yeah once the game is all done updating with all of the new stuff and everything we should be able to send Darby a whole bunch of level codes for like viewers levels and stuff like that

The weapon buffs in this are AWESOME.
They made Top Spin (the worst weapon in the entire franchise in its source game Mega Man 3) fun to use

The top spin is like the spinjump from sonic games
I wonder if a Sonic inspired level is even possible in Mega Man Maker. I think the closest thing would be Bass with Top Spin as his primary weapon and conveyor belts as the primary terrain. Thatâs just me talking, though.

I know Shade Man's terrain could be a good choice since most first Sonic levels have grass in them. There's also the fact that you can choose from 55 main background colors on top of the countless backgrounds found in the game. Who knows how many combinations can be used?

Mega Man Maker is super cool, I tried so hard to get a group of friends to make and swap levels it fell through, so I have to admit I forgot about this. Super....Mega great video lol. Also now that I'm further in the video you did very well especially for someone that doesn't play mega man often. This video really made my day ty~ Really hope this video does well i would love to see more of this.

For the last level, the guy had some notions in level design and it showed clearly with the appearing blocks where it starts with a floor, then a small hole, a bigger one, then spikes. Spikes and big hole are functionally the same, but spike induce more stress making the section artificially harder!

11:31 You have capcom and/or the mega man team to blame for that. As stated by the title of the level, this is a faithful recreation of heat man's stage. There's a reason mega mans's invisible blocks are infamous. lol

"Punchy Punch" weapons real name is "Hard Knuckle" which you get from Hard Man in Mega Man 3.

Iâve always just used Item 2 (the jet sled) when crossing that huge pit in Heat Manâs stage.

I had practically forgotten all about it. Think I was missing a few crucial elements in the version years back.
I only made 2 lvls, the 1st one's "Duble Truble", the 2nd one is called "Dublevania", it's not the best thing ever, but am pretty proud of it ^^

It has content from all of the numbered Mega Man games as well as Mega Man 1's remake: Mega Man Powered Up. Mega Man and Bass content is coming soon as well.
I played this game for years... had some good times with it... and a lot of bad times with it once the 1./5 update came out and people the heck out of being able to put more than one boss in a stage. Several bosses in a stage is fine... 8 bosses in one room... Not so much. 50+ bosses in a stage... Yea... time to step away from the game because at that point, it feels like people are making those kind of stages to troll people.
A quick tip when it comes to selecting your weapon: If you hit both your weapon forward and weapon back buttons (I don't remember what they are by default, but I set them to Lt ++ RT) at the same time, it will automatically switch you to your default weapon.. It can be very helpful when you need to quickly get to your default weapon. (Which is typically the Mega Buster unless people decide to change it)
11:31: To answer that question, this is how the Yoku blocks are in the original version of the game as well. Making them a nightmare to jump across. They also go on for far too long in the actual level this is based off of.

I love the Mega Man videos you put out, wish he was still more relevant these days so we could get more of them. Any new takes on the old Mega Man levels is awesome as it was a personal favorite series of mine as a kid. Whether you do another challenge, just play random levels, or make some levels yourself I hope we get some more BTG Mega Man videos soon!
The game is due for a big update soon so I'd suggest coming back when that happens.
Nice video though, I have a level series you could play if you're taking suggestions, sort of my own mega man game. I should note 3 out of the 15 stages aren't uploaded yet but hopefully soon they will be up.

haven't played it in forever. I'm glad you can add multiple bosses and put keys in them now. I'll have to check if you can put the something that will give you new abilities in the level rather than having all the weapons you have from the beginning.
You can. There are weapon capsules in the game. And you can even make it so that bosses give you a weapon upon killing them.
All the OG Mega Man players were screaming at the monitor on each boss. LOL "Not the bombs! Elec!"

Oh, that is cool to know! I would have fluked into the right answer then. It was a remake of Wily 4, though... but it could have been a MASSIVE troll to remake a level and mix up the weaknesses. XD

There is a page of one of the devs of the game called webmeka, in this web you can found NRS levels, this lvls are from the NRS Mega Man Maker league, if you wanna play this game at some point again i highly recomend go for this lvls, the lvls are maded for the best creators on the world :)

When I played it as a kid I only used the default blaster (didn't know you could change let alone that bosses had a weakness) and didn't know you could use those healing items... Sometimes I'm surprised what kid me was able to do (often while unknowingly giving myself huge handicaps), I beat so many games with little problem, games I struggle with now.
Technically never beat this game, I couldn't save, so finished each stage individually. Since it didn't save I never got to play the final stage in the center.
Mega Man games are tough, but only using the default weapon had to be brutal! Haha. Did you still have fun?

This is one of those games that's so good that you wonder why it's not official. And it's not that far off from capcom because Megaman X Street Fighter started as a fan project before it became official. I'm at least glad it's allowed to exist for all this time

TIP: You can press up and down while riding on Rush Jet (the red flying doggo) to make it fly higher or lower.
remember Mrmaximus227? yeah its me on a alt account i used to be on darby's retro night streams a long time ago and i was a big fan and still am!
The mega buster doesn't seem to work as the default weapon for me. It has a lock icon, which I assumed is to lock it into default weapon spot. But when I try using it in my levels, nothing happens. And if I add it to another slot, it just uses up energy.

I'd love to see you build a level. I've never really played Mega Man, but I plan to do so in the near future. I would start with the Mega Man Zero collection for the NDS. Or has anyone a better suggestion for Mega Man beginners?
The only Mega Man game I really played is the very first one on the NES and Mega Man: Dr. Wily's Revenge on Gameboy.
If you're planning to start somewhere, then I recommend picking up Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 and 2 for all of numbered Classic Mega Man games. (Except 11 of course as that game needs to be purchased separately.)
Mega Man Maker is slated for its 1.8 update before November. In the meantime, you can try out the Mega Man X mod for Mega Man Maker. Equally as fun. (Yes, it is actually a mod. I'm not joking)

here to recommend a sonic hack: sonic 3c delta its basically the s3 protos but beatable. its only a demo at the moment with the s3 zones+fbz but eventually they'll add the s&k zones
