Great build, great truck. Ditch the Escort 9500ix and get a Escort Max 2 or Escort Max 360. First Gen 9500ix was a slow responder for detectors.
I have a transmissions shop and begin a transmission guy i enjoyed watching this very much.

I just changed solenoid pack on my 06 , had no idea i have to unmount ...that whatever that was you were testing, lol. I ve lost 1,2, and overdrive i believe, when i was 4 hours away from home, i got lucky stopped at gas station and it started working again all the way home and for 2 more weeks. Then it broke again and i changed it with filter, screen and about 11 quarts of fluid.

Now the shop truck has a lot of things that absolutely should not come stock... But painted handles and painted mirrors is definitely the way it should have come. The silver is usually kind of a work truck color, but the painted mirrors and handles make it look classier and to someone with a good eye they give the littlest bit of "wait a minute..."
Leather seats and rubber floors also should have been an option. Why upgrade from carpet just to cover it with rubber mats? And turndowns are always a great option for exhaust.

Honestly I am not sure on either, I know the paddles are quite a bit of a upgrade because of the labor involved into tieing the transmission computer into the truck computer

Greg, if buying a new truck I plan on deleting and a mild build, should I go Aisin or 68rfe?
68 100% While I'm not a fan of them, they can do trans tuning to them to help and make them better right off the bat, while some will argue the aisin is stronger which might be I'd still not wanna buy something that no one is support or making parts for ya know. Hope that helps

John Muldoon hi, why not, I have a 08 3500 dually ram, most of this trucks have 68rfe, its a working truck, so probably you get more work, just saying, there's a reason why, just to understand you, but hey, GREAT JOB, you know your stuff
LMK Logistics !! Because some shops have a separate bank account dedicated to 68rfes. They are very finicky to build. The demand for our 47/48 platform is enough to keep us busy. The 68 is something we will likely do in the future
he is not the first to have done the paddle shifter in a cummins... i know of 2 people that have in their 2006 and 2008. one is local to me in maryland and the other is in florida. It is a sweet setup. How come you never drive your trucks??
