I think it would be easier if you actually film an entire video of working with a client professionally and how you do it from start to finish!!! Some of the things were a little confusing, I’m a visual learner so watching u use these tips would help a lot!

That might be difficult to pull off, especially if a client doesn't want to be on her channel, perhaps at her own discretion she could have a 'fake client' and she can still show off her normal process.

Can honestly recommend freshbooks for invoicing etc... All online, cloud backup, phone app with time logging extremely beginner friendly. I used it as a chippy and now as a photographer.

Is the app Available for download? It sounds great and I can’t wait to download it.
I know you shot on Canon, but with the Nikon body you can change folders through the shot menu. Each time I switch from one shot to the next, I change the folder that the pictures will save into. Then Lightroom will organize them by date.

At 3:37, I name all my photos the same way. It’s the best way. Then I put those folders with the same name and then in folders by year.
Can you tell us what external drive you recommend? There are so many options but I’d love your advice. Thank you!

Thanks for the tips. It's reassuring to know I'm already implementing some of those things but shall definitely make some improvements. My one thing still causing me problems apart from making time to edit is how to price things. How did you decide how much to charge for your portrait work? 🙂

Hi Julia! I've been interested in levitation photography lately.
Could you give some tips on some non-standard poses? 'Cause I want to be up high but find it hard and dangerous to have my head low and feet higher, with a ladder.
I've done a simple one where I'm pretending to be floating-falling, sitting on a high stool, which placed me above the horizon, and then erased the stool and its shadow in Photoshop.
But I'm just looking for what to step on (as a model). Your insight will be very valued!

Hello ma'am I have seen almost all ur videos,it's very usefull but I always have a question in mind?why don't u use a 70-200mm lens as you are a Canon shooter?
I'm 14 right now and i was wondering what your opinion is on offering to shoot for free so i can fine tune my skills and build a reputation and then work up to paying clients . (also so if paid photographers are present i can take notes from them to improve my skills)
Do you edit on an SSD or a conventional HDD? I'm finding my Seagate drive can be a bit slow, despite being 7200rpm, with 42MP RAW files.

Julia, can you tell me why you like DropBox vs Google Photos or Google Drive for sharing photos? Thanks!
We prefer Dropbox for sharing images with clients as like Julia mentioned, it's a system that most people are familiar with. On the other hand, we use Google Drive to mirror parts of our NAS systems into the cloud as an additional off site backup on top of our physical off-site backups. We also like that with the two options available, we can keep them for seperate uses. Hope that helps!
May i suggest a video going over all the paperwork side for a separate video? Idk about others but i know i struggle with this part

Do you keep your lightroom catalog on a removable hard drive? I’ve often wondered how it would work if using different computers, or if my Mac failed would I have to re-edit 🤷♂️
