Please consider giving the video a like, it's greatly appreciated. If you're mounting your solar panel into brick, concrete, or stucco, Ring recommends:
- Mark the holes where you wish to mount your Ring solar panel.
- Drill a hole for the anchors using a 6mm (1/4") drill bit.
- Insert the anchors.
- Use the screws to secure the mount.
Also, a follow up on this particular solar panel's performance.. it's in a low traffic area that only gets a few activations a day. But I have several settings turned on that Ring states are 'Using extra power'. Such as: Snapshot Capture is set to 'Every 5 Minutes', Motion Frequency is set to 'Frequently', Video Recording Length is set to '120 seconds', plus other settings. And so far, the camera gets charged back up to 100% each day, so I'm happy with it.

Hi do you have to buy that adapter for stick up cams I’m assuming .
Camera works, mounted panel, connected the two together, but I don’t get the “sun over battery” in the app
I had the same issue. I just reset my ring cam then the sun appeared upon reboot. Helpful video. I had this mounted and connected in minutes. Thank you.
