Superb video! I could not figure any of Ring's instructions. I followed your steps up until the point of screwing one of the security screws underneath (at 1:26 of video). No matter how I try it, I cannot line up the hole on the cover with the hole in the battery compartment. What the heck am I doing wrong? Here I was so totally jazzed that everything was going great up until I hit that point. I know it is something I'm not doing correctly, but no idea what! I'd be most appreciative if you (or any of the readers) could give me a hint. Thanks so much!

Does this camera still record when there is no movement or only with movement ?

they probably put gremlins in the firmware to "overheat" prematurely, so you want to upgrade to the next numbered model.. which is why theyre numbering the models.. theyre taking a page from apple and everyone else.. planned obsolescence.

I turned on my TV last night in my bedroom, and got this exact image of the green and white stripes. i did end up unplugging my TV and when I plugged it back in, it rebooted the Android OS and started back working. Hoping it will continue to be working in the future.

Wow, thanks, I bought my instapot today to steralize substrate and didnt think about the ring absorbing odours etc so I will use the red one for the substrate and switch back to the white one to cook my food. Also if you soak the white ring in small tub full of water, 3 cans of beetroot juice, 5 cups of strawberries, squeeze some red food colouring in their too.. you have 2 red rings.

Errrrrr. Wait a second. I want the motion detection, I just don’t want live view recorded when I go to the preview and tap on it. It seems to start recording as soon as I look at live view.

A really daft requirement. Should be a simple button at the home page of the app that just says. Stop recording. You might still want to have motion detection but simply not record video…

I’m literally scared of my dryer because of lint filter so before anyone starts the dryer I tell them, “CHECK THE LINT FILTER! WE DONT WANT OUR DRYER TO CATCH FIRE” 🤣🤣🤣
