Ms. Bridgewater never fails to electrify!! And what youthful talent onstage! Lastly, the band director's solo at the end brought tears to my eyes. Splendid concert, all!
I saw her at the New Orleans Jazz Festival in April 2023 and her band was all female, a young black bassist and another young black woman drummer They were fabulous! We came from NZ and were so lucky to see her. What an extraordinary woman! I was blown away. If only she could come to NZ.
