Let me explain something. Denver had the best Overall Defense all year. Carolina had a great defense too, and at times it showed in Super Bowl 50. The problem was that the Panthers, never matched Denver's intensity. Most of the experts gave the Broncos no chance. I live in Vegas, and I was telling people that Denver would cover the spread, or win straight up. I didn't believe that that Carolina would blow Denver out. Me and my cousin Adam, who's a long time Broncos fan thought about this game for two weeks leading up to the game. We kept coming up with the same scenario. Can Carolina contain Denver's Pass Rush. We both knew that was the key to this game. I picked 5 things to happen on a Parlay Ticket. Manning under 36 Completions, Newton Under 20 Completions, Field Goals Over 3, Punts Over 9, and Stewart Under 20 Carries. I hit on all 5, on a $100 Bet that won me $2,000. Thank you Broncos!

This loss was much tougher than the super bowl 38 loss man. This team was really doing something special. I was just waiting for the game winning drive from Newton and it never happened man Denver's pass rush was intense and we made too many mistakes. Good defensive game
+TheCardiac12 Agree. It was twice as hard to watch those mistakes again in hindsight because at least at the time there was hope they would overcome them. But I will say that catch they challenged and lost should have been a catch and it really made things a lot more difficult than they should have been. Overall though, now I see why people kept talking about Denver's defense all season.

Hey man Super bowl 48 was tough for us. It was straight up embarrassing, but I will never switch teams. I see this super bowl having the same effect on the Panthers as super bowl 48 had on us. I hate all these 2012 Bronco fans that don't respect other teams. I respect the hell out of that Panthers squad for what it did the whole year.

+That one guy I agree. Thats such a momentum changing play. You could tell Cam and Co. were shellshocked after that. They looked like they had a stick in their ass, moving really choppy and robotic and timid. Every single read option and handoff was nearly fumbled

I don't like the panthers much, but I really like Luke Kuechly. He's a real team player, and as someone who plays sports that means a lot to me.
It's always tough, even when you win, for the guys like Keuchly, Allen and Olsen that you admire and respect on the other team. Carolina has nothing to be ashamed of. They just ran into one of the five greatest defenses in NFL history.
As a die-hard Broncos fan for 40 years I can say this:
*1997 was my happiest moment
*1998 was my greatest team
*2015 was my favorite team
They fought and scrapped for every single game they won. It was a total team effort. It taught me the value of depth on the roster.
I miss this team so much. ❤ Broncos forever ❤

I don’t care about the outcome of this Super Bowl the panthers are still champions in my eyes. This was the best season I ever witnessed as a panthers fan, fall 2015 was full of great memories. If I had the opportunity to go back in time and watch this panther team play a whole season again I will. 2003 panthers was a great team but 2015 panthers was just so fun to watch they had so much swag and heart.
Every now and then i go back to this and the SB 50 highlights video. I remember how excited i was to see Newton, Kuechly and Carolina winning their first Lombardi trophy. If i could go back in time and do anything to help the Panthers win this game i would in a heartbeat, this game is really fun to play and watch, i miss this Panthers so much. But i'm confident that in some years we'll be on another SB. I can feel it. Props to Denver on a high octane defense, well played.

I thought the Panthers were gonna drive down the field for the winning touchdown on that last drive when Cam Newton fumbled. As many mistakes as the Panthers made they were still only down by 6 points near the end of the fourth quarter. A touchdown on that drive and they could've won 17-16. So it's not like they got killed.
