- Shangri La Hotels and Resorts original 1971 first hotel on planet, at Singapore. Tour of the place starting at Valley Wing room, pool, Garden and Tower Wing, lobby, and afternoon high tea... Singapore changed a bit since then, but the hotel still has its class...
This hotel is incredible.
THE HOTEL FROM MY FIRST SINGAPORE VISIT THE 9TH OF AUGUST 1992...
ALL ROOMS FROM THE TOWER WING HAD BALCONIES AND THERE WAS A PUTTING GREEN IN THE GARDEN AND THERE WAS A NIGHT CLUB XANADU....

This is where the vocalstar auditions are held here i took part in the audition i sing let her go by passenger acapella without music my mom and grandmother were shocked the way i sing they said
“His voice is very sweet the way he sings in tune of a song were so proud of you son”.
I was the last person to go upstairs.

The Oberoi in Bangalore seems to have been inspired by the Garden Wing, with its Balconies and all its accoutrements.
Great video as usual. Big Shangri-la fan here too, Shangri-La just seem to get things right. Love the gardens in the Garden Wing.

I haven't stayed at that many... off memory Shangri La's Barr Al Jissah Resort & Spa in Oman... large hotel at beachside... just a bit different....
For my case, it would be the Kowloon Shangri-La in Hong Kong. I love that hotel a lot!
