Been married 22 years and my daughters will let me know their dad can’t do know wrong! 👀, I went over different scenarios in which I could possibly get done wrong.
The answer was, I’ll be mad at him, but you can’t hurt my daddy. They meant that physically, they would have me arrested behind their daddy, emotionally, they would have to live with him to comfort him and make sure he’s okay and I’d be the one hurt!
Girls that have awesome fathers don’t play about them it doesn’t matter how awesome their mother is and they’ll tell you and their friends will tell you I’m pretty great although the stricter parent.

IMO, Jeannie was on the rebound with Jeezy. In the early days, both of them were having a good time. It felt good and most likely fell into their feelings of being an open-minded Asian woman and Black man. Trying to prove to themselves and the world that they can create something good together. IDK, he was perhaps trying to make look like he can be in a relationship and she coming out from a divorce wanting to prove that she can make the marriage work. When you hear them talk about one another in the early days ... it was both of them trying to be so idealistic trying to convince themselves that they found the "right" one. I think they got stuck on that idea and kept pushing and pushing until reality set in for both of them. When you're desperate to make it work you overlook so many red flags and if there was DV --- she most likely was embarrassed by it and kept going with the idea of being in a "good" relationship. If you watch the vietnam series ... they were both trying to sell a dream. And from how this is unfolding it's been a nightmare.

It's the timing of it all for me. I'm going to need real proof before I pass judgement and I have a lot of questions. Jeannie has always presented herself as a no nonsense woke Vietnamese woman who is very outspoken. When she initially filed why didn't she cite domestic violence instead of infidelity? If their child was potentially in an unsafe environment why wasn't that part of the initial filing? It seems like every time Jeezy makes a motion Jeannie's lawyers respond with new allegations which in my opinion makes her not credible. More and more Jeannie is coming off manipulative and using her "karen" status to sway public opinion.

It's unfortunate that while Jeanie was married, she didn't show the same concern for her child health and safety. But, once Jeezy filed for divorce, then it became I'm worried about the welfare of my child. Cherry picking when one is concerned or compliscent is not a choice. Either Jeanie was concerned from the beginning, or she tolerated the behavior for the sake of her lifestyle and own selfish needs. Jeanie chose to stay in abusive relationships according to her own words as she and Jeezy went to therapy. No ethical therapist would ever advise a victim of domestic violence to stay in a relationship with the alleged abuser or subject one's minor children to abuse by witnessing it ( CPS has clear guidelines when it comes to domestic violence and allowing one's children to witness abuse. It is considered by definition child abuse, and YES CPS can open a case against both parties). I'm not attempting to shame Jeanie, instead I'm attempting to spread the level of one being compliscent in subjecting one's minor children to alleged child abuse/ child endangerment and using mental health profession to justify why one would stay in an abusive relationship. The therapist does not advise victims to stay with the alleged perpetrator. Hopefully, this can resolved amicably and both parties can move on. But Jeanie should definitely get individual therapy for else I order to understand why one would stay in an abusive relationship allegedly and subject minor child to abuse.

Why do Al’s opinions lack sensibility more often than not? Thank goodness for Claudia, and the other host, or these conversations would sound purely ignorant and biased. Hearing Al’s take on things is really frustrating. This is not about race. Jeanie actually covered the alleged abuse for a while. She was willing to stay in that relationship, and was blindsided by the divorce. But since it seems he is making the divorce filing difficult by claiming full custody etc. she has to be fully transparent now.

He never should've tried it in the first place. He was only trying to get out of paying her child support. And he did it out of spite, it seems.
