That's probably the case as there is no shortage of married men who employ the services of s3x workers. However, a lot of prostitute encounter only involve oral favors, which carries low-to-no risk of HIV transmission from the giver to the receiver. Also, some of these encounters she had with tricks may have been protected, which would also carry low-to-no risks of infected bodily fluids exchanging between the worker and the men. What's missing from this dialogue is the question of why I'd expect someone ELSE (ESPECIALLY a drug-addicted s3x worker) to safeguard MY health more than I'm willing to safeguard my own health. Is that even rational? If I don't care enough about my health to put on a condom, is it even rational or realistic to think that another person would care more about my health than I do? Women are more likely to get tested for STDs and pregnant women have to be tested during the first and third trimester. CDC requires that all providers test pregnant women throughout the pregnancy stages due to high rates of mothers contracting syphilis.

In a world where young people don't get ENOUGH useful information from elders, I think that Armon sharing his story is a good productive thing. Younger people need to hear stories like these so that they can be aware of what dangers that are lurking out there in the dating world. I think that if more people over 35 were open & honest about their life experiences & lessons they've learned along the way, younger ppl would have better blueprints to more safely navigate life.

There are layers to this conversation that the geadline doesn't reflect. People should always take more responsibility for their own health and increase their own risk of contracting any sexually transmitted infection by having unprotected intercourse, sharing needles with others etc. This woman knew her HIV status but there are people who may have HIV and are not aware of it. So really any intercourse with strangers has a level of risk attached to it. I work as a mental health nurse and have cared for a female inpatient over the years who does sex work and is HIV positive- but simply does not have the mental capacity to manage adhering to a HIV medication regime, and her intellectual deficincies impair her ability to fully comprehend/understand the seriousness of her HIV status (she pretty much equates HIV with, in her own words, having "dirty blood" and feels the diagnosis is inaccurate as she is not a gay male and does not have anal sex)
Listen a disease is a disease it means that you are doing stuff raw unfortunately some people catch things orally and can't get rid of it but the bottom line is this I hold both of y'all responsible cuz y'all know better y'all know what to do to protect yourself so if there's that many AIDS people out there then that tells you how trifling and lustful both sides
