2. To prevent discomfort to the customer due to his oral odour.

Today I went to a local gents parlour , he took 70 rupees for the haircut and 30 for shaving, to my surprise , it was hygenic, the haircut was worth of the money , and due to lockdown, my beard was very long, so he had to trim it first with a trimmer and then he shaved my beared, he used foam and even he used aftershave, I was surprised, I usually go to unisex salons, where it costs ₹250/- just for the haircut, but it was closed due to lockdown, and after many years I experienced a local barber shop .

Everyone who loves the street shaving experience, it might be because you use cartridge razors, which honestly SUCK.
Try an old school double edge razor. You'll be guaranteed the smoothest and cleanest shave of your life. It might take some getting used to (watch a guide or 2, Geofatboy and the others) but once you do, not only do you get a better shave, you save thousands of rupees in the long run.
In my profession I have to shave every day, and cartridge Razors are worst I used to get so many problems like irritation, itching, ingrown hairs,etc. Recently I switched to double edge safety razor and it was one of the best best decisions of my life, after switching to DE Razor I didn't got any problems and I always get a smooth and close shave and shaving has became a joyful habit.
Fun fact:- I also got inspired from Geofatboy for dumping cartridge razors and switching to double edge safety razor and I have learnt to shave with DE Razor from Geofatboy only he is freaking awesome.

He talks about hygiene so much I expected him to be genuinely clean but after looking at his teeth he does not deserve the towel washed with dettol or the dettol face cream.
