This reminded me of being 16-17 - three/four years ago - when I was totally in love with Dodie's music. I was soft and sad and innocent and gay and I kinda miss that time in a nostalgic way. More than that it reminded me of how much I love her old music.
Interenstingly, I didn't started to watch dodie when I was teenager, but when I was too stressed at work. I have the same age of her and in a way, that use to make me feel happy and her songs relatable, lol.

I started listening to dodie when I was 12-13, I struggled with my self image for many years and hearing her music inspired me to keep going no matter how bad I felt about myself. I play music as an escape now, on instruments and on streaming services. dodie will always be a favorite and I’m so grateful for everything she’s done for me, even if she’ll probably never know me.
Back in 2018 once my dad left my mum I literally couldn’t fall asleep without listening to dodies music, it was almost like her calm soothing voice took me away from my loud,very sad reality. I’m very thankful for Dodie :)
This is why I’m going to miss homeschool. I like being able to listen to music while I work, it just really calms me. At my school, my classmates are crazy and loud. I would love to be able to listen to calming Dodie but I just can’t do that at school
I am often bragging to others about dodie but all I think to point them to is one video at a time or the albums she has on YT. This one and the part 2 you made are really good for introducing her to folks that have no idea who she is. Thank you.
In the nicest way possible I don't think I've ever finished this video. I tried it out once or twice and it immediately became a favourite in my list of ol reliable sleepytime videos and I'm gone like 20 minutes in 😂 If only there was a version of this with rain in the background, that would knock me out instantly lmao
This is so good! It features a lot of the covers that I love that don’t get enough recognition. Plus this was just so calming and the visuals have obviously been planned out with a lot of thought! Loved listening!
School starts again tomorrow, I have 3 assignment dues 2 weeks ago, one due two months ago, and I just haven't had motivation to do it. This helped to get some of it done, so thank you.
