If talking about missing Eze for the central 10 position, I would take Sudakov or Xavi Simons or Pedro Goncalves or Alex Baena or Gibbs White.
If we are talking about missing Eze for the right forward position, I would be looking at Matias Soule or Jadon Sancho or Deniz Undav.
I actually think that in the very limited way that Ange plays, Eze would be better on the right as a goalscoring wide forward, as Eze is much more of a goalscorer than a creator.
If Poch was at Spurs I would say play Eze in the centre and stick Madders wide so both are much more effective in their best positions, but Ange wont play Madders wide, meaning we would lack creativity with Eze in the centre as it would come at the expense of Madders or any other playmaker (ange only ever plays his playmaker central like Jose and it's one off one on - as shown with Gio and Madders, and Even Kulu when he played there).
Lazar Samardzic would be a great addition for a much lesser fee.

Not necessarily. Release clause is usually with the majority paid up front.. the full amount is rarely paid up front all in one. Only the rich oil men could afford to pay up front in full and now they cannot when it is a large sum because of ffp ect... and the goalposts for this changes every season. Clubs like Chelsea find loop holes to cheat the system and that means the clubs that are following the rules are worse off for it... it is a joke that Chelsea and man City ect seem to get away with murder without any repercussions

release clause is not blood on stone scenario - Negotiate with CP may be pay a little more or include a sale clause or champions league clause in the add-ons ..
