Paulina (Pau) on drums, would practice singing while running on a treadmill and has been singing and drumming since she was very young. She started drumming when Shen was around 6 years old.

They all sing but in fact Dany, on guitar, does 80% of the lead vocals. Pau sings lead on numerous songs but sings backup on nearly every song, and for some she trades off with Dany in the same song. Ale (bass) also sings backup on nearly every song. The harmonies they achieve make them pretty unique. Ale occasionally sings lead if there are technical difficulties or if Dany needs a break.

  • @thsc9119
    @thsc9119 Před rokem +10

They produce a huge sound with just a guitar, bass, and drums. A lot of the credit for that goes to Alejandra (Ale) on bass. Between her playing and Paulina (Pau) on drums, Daniela (Dany) can stop playing guitar periodically and it never sounds thin. These girls are probably the best live guitar-rock band since the heyday of guitar rock in the late 60's and early 70's (The Beatles and Stones, Cream, The Who, Jimi Hendrix, etc.). The ywrite great songs and are always entertaining. They are truly a rock-n-roll revival.

Currently, Ale(Bass) is 18 Pau(Drummer) is 21 and Dany(Guitar) is 23(their nicknames) and all classically trained piano musicians before they started playing(The Rock Band) video game and started rock music because of the game… then went to Berklee College of Music in 2015… they have been grinding for 10 years and have some of the best music ive heard in my generation… they are not your typical new school band and don’t sing about same stuff everyone else my age is singing about… they write about real shit… 2017 ( 21 Century Blood) album is crazy good, a concept yall should check out is an album from 2018, (Queen of the Murder Scene) the live show at Lunario, and their new album (Error) is a great… on their channel they just dropped a big concert at CDMX from 2022… they played with Foo Fighters, Guns N Roses, Halestorm and others throughout the years… Lizzy Hale brought them on 2 tours last year and she gifted the older sister (Dany) a Gibson Explore because she felt inspired and that she was the future for front women in rock and every time they opened for Halestorm and The Pretty Reckless, they sounded like the headliner also gaining new fans… Lizzy believes these women are the future of rock just like the rest of us (The Warning Army)… a lot of their fans are older but they have younger fans like me… im the same age as Dany… most ppl like me that support say they bring true rock music back and not this new age bs… they are the best three piece band today

It was June 2015 when I first discovered The Warning by way of their “Enter Sandman” cover, the one you mentioned during your last reaction of these young ladies. I knew right from the start that these young ladies were something very special and I started to binge watch literally everything I could find from them, which was very little back then. I can honestly say I have not missed a single day since then in which I have watched or listened to something of their journey.
In my nearly 64 years of life I have never been so into a band. I joined their Patreon page within the first hour of its creation and have been saying for many years that they would one day be recognized world wide, and gain the status of the greatest power trio of all time, selling out the biggest arenas, stadiums and headlining the most prestigious music festivals in the world.
To date I have had the privilege of meeting them via meet and greets twice as well as enjoying their performances live. Even this early in their careers they are by far among the best live bands I have ever seen, and I have seen many of the greatest bands over the past 40 years. It is an experience I suggest all who love music of any form to do if at all possible.
I believe they will absolutely bring rock music back to main stream status. I say this because I personally know of several people who have never liked rock music, or even consider listening to it end up liking and following The Warning. They truly are as special as I originally thought 8 years ago when I was first introduced to them via their fathers CZcams videos.
If you continue down this rabbit hole I guarantee you will not be disappointed as they have 47 original songs in their collection, being found in 3 full albums, 1 EP and two stand alone singles plus a reimagined rendition of Metallicas Enter Sandman, which you have already reacted to, created as a collaboration with Canadian pop star Alessia Cara exclusively for Metallicas BlackList album. Choose any one of their song and you will quickly discover they are incapable of putting out a bad song. “You have been warned!”
    LONG LIVE THE VILLARREAL SISTERS!

Hey guys! Also, remember this concert was at 7200ft in elevation in Mexico City. That is thin air to try and sing and have so much energy! Any song from this concert will blow you away. I will suggest, Animosity, Evolve, Survive, 23, and to slow it down, Revenant! They are a straight up rock band, and like you said, it is So refreshing! All their songs have deep lyrics and great hooks. They don't do "skip tracks" or "filler songs", every song stands on it's own! They are a generational talent like nobody I've ever seen or heard of before! If rock is to make a comeback, The Warning will be leading the charge! Future Legends!

Live they hit even harder than these recordings (which have become on of my all-time favorite concert recordings). So happy that you came back to The Warning. This entire concert footage just dropped on their YT page. Any of the songs are worth a look.

many of us have been following DPA/TW since or before their first viral video hit the streams back in 2012... that video was of them doing a cover of Metallica's *Enter Sandman* from the "Black" album... more recently they answered a call from Metallica to take a song from the "Black" album, twist it around, upside down, and backward... keep the lyrics but make it something else... DPA/TW teamed up with Alessia Cara, a Canadian Pop and R&B artist, to reimagine *Enter Sandman* as a more haunting, eerie, and dark lullaby than the metal original...
DPA/TW started with music at a very young age... like 3 and 5 for Pau (drummer) and Dany (guitar)... Ale (bass) wasn't even born yet... they started with piano and classical music... Ale also started on piano when she was old enough... as a family, they used to watch concerts on TV together... music has always been a part of their lives and they are influenced by many bands from past years... then came the game, Rock Band, which Dany and Pau played all the time with Ale watching and clapping along... Pau gravitated to the drums and Dany the guitar... Ale finally chose the bass even though she didn't know what it was at first... her original 4-string bass was 1/2 size and was still quite big for her... later she went to a 3/4 size 4-string bass... since she was 13, Ale is a Specter Featured Artist playing a 5-string bass with a 35" neck... after Ale started playing the bass, the girls realized they had all they needed to form a band and here we are, today...
in one of their interviews, Pau comments about having been playing the drums for 13 years... she does aerobic exercises and running while singing to keep up her stamina and breath control... she's been singing while playing the drums since her early years... you can find videos of Pau doing drum covers when she is like 8 or 9 years old...
today the girls are 23 (Dany), 21 (Pau), and 18 (Ale)... they have just released the full concert they did at the Teatro Metropolitan (Metropolitan Theater) in CDMX (Mexico City) back in Aug 2022... Mexico City is higher in altitude than Denver! certainly higher than their home town of Monterrey, Mexico... you can find the concert as individual videos of the songs or as one video of the entire concert with opening and closing BTS (behind the scenes) added... the theater holds like 3500 and sold out both nights they played (Aug 26th and 29th)...
the rabbit hole is deep and quite enjoyable! come on in, there's plenty of room for more! 😹

Our ladies are displaying how they won’t be pigeonholed in any way. I love this release, both the music and the artistic representation. What can you say beyond THIS IS S!CK. Ale, the bassist, can sing lead but prefers being the backup singer. She has a beautiful lower alto voice and a fantastic falsetto. For being 18 years old she is more self confident in her abilities performing, but stays away from the spotlight. We all are waiting for her to bloom, but are happy to see the few times she is called on to take lead if Dany needs to rest her voice. This was a 1hr 45min concert(the second one in 3 days) and Dany's voice held up just fine. Welcome to the adventure. I am still waiting for a song I don't love.

Hell! You can't go wrong with any The Warning song. You can pick one by throwing songs in a jar and you'll come up with a awesome friggin song. Pau, the drummer, will sing on some songs, but the lead vocal duty is Dany the guitarist and older sister.

That right there is pure 100% hard work, determination, and discipline. The Warning had focus on improving for a decade.

Saw them at the Brighton music hall in Alston MA on August 11th. Second time seeing them live. They are an awesome live band. Can't wait to see them again. Their version of Enter Sand Man is so good. You need to check it out. 😁

Huge sound with one guitar done by processing guitar into three separate signals with a tiny delay between each guitar = 3 guitar wall of sound. They've tightened up their vocals and have better intonation than ever. They're hard working, not talent-less pop karaoke act.

    REACT TO "NARCISSISTA"!
Same concert, Teatro Metropolitan. The drummer, Pau, takes over FRONT stage, sings lead and kills it! So much showmanship in that girl. It is sung in spanish, but NARCISSISTA has the best audience chorus sing-along since Journey's "Lovin', Touchin', Squeezin'". Her drum teacher plays drums for her while she sings. It's a rocker too!

You want to watch the drummer, Paulina sing lead while behind the kit, checkout "Dust to Dust" from this concert. This song is from their 2nd studio album released in 2017

The song "Disciple" is from their latest album "Error" recorded in 2020 but only released in 2022 after the pandemic was over.

You just wait to see their other songs in their performance "Live at Teatro Metropólitan CDMX"...
such as "Choke", "Money", "Dust to Dust", "Survive", "Animosity", "Evolve", "Martirio", "Narcisista", "Error", "Z", "When I'm Alone", "23", "Kool Aid Kids", "Amour", "Hunter", "Revenant"...
Your head will blow you away with such musical quality, with such good hard rock that it corresponds to the 3rd. album released by TW.
And then you must turn to their previous creation of theirs, which is a jewel, a masterpiece, their tremendous
"concept-album" called "Queen Of The Murder Scene"
and of course its live version is also better.
Details of all this will show you as the rest of the TWArmy tell you in more detail about it.
At the moment I subscribe to your channel because I hope to see many reactions from you to my favorite band of all time.
Thanks and greetings from México!! 🇲🇽
    🤘😁✌️

Spotify told me what my top 5 songs were from the year today.... coincidentally they all happen to be by The Warning (I am in no way surprised). All but #4 are from the concept album "Queen of the Murder Scene". Most would suggest you check that one out in order, using the Lunario CDMX concert videos from their channel.
    1) Sinister Smiles
    2) Red Hands Never Fade
    3) The Sacrifice
    4) Animosity
    5) Stalker
