      Watch them play piano when they're 6 or 7. They were not born with talent. They earned all of this through hard work. That is much more impressive.

    That’s so much fun watching someone discover TW for the first time.
    They are “proper” everything. High level of musicianship, deep and meaningful lyrics and amazing song composition that can’t really be pigeon-holed into a single genre.
    Great contrast between early TW and current TW.
    Little Ale grew into a stunning young woman that absolutely lays down thunderous bass lines.
    Pau is even better as a complete drummer who’s theatrics are as impressive as her technical skill and her outstanding lead and backing vocals.
    Dany is the consummate front person for a band keeping the crowd involved and she is an incredible vocalist and plays the most beautiful melodic solos.
    So much more to discover and anything from this show is top notch.

    This song is about how social media controls us with fabricated info. Pau, the drummer, got inspired about the main riff in a Canadian supermarket in 2019. She came home, composed the song on her piano including the bass intro and called her sisters. They were 19, 17 & 14 then.
    That is why Dany, guitarist, starts the song as an antagonist with "The sun is YOUR enemy today" while Pau picks it up as a disciple in the 2nd verse with "The sun is MY enemy today". The sisters trade off lead vocals as demanded by the script. You can make out the difference in their vocal textures. Ale, the bassist, mainly harmonizes in the lower frequencies with infrequent falsettos as required by the song.
    The Warning are masters in composing in minor scales. Quite often they introduce a full sequence of major chords for the same verse to break the monotony. And that downward bend in vocals here is typically The Warning with this progression G Bb E A G#m . I mean G & G#m in the same sequence - are you kidding me?

    • @awadoma2702
      @awadoma2702 Před rokem +1

      The real story as told by Pau on video on either IG live or twitch live shortly after the song came out, was she had an idea for this song told Dany about it while on their vacation in western Canada, then when they got back home they worked on it together (the 3 of them), as they do with most of their songs
      Fans still don't get it. Pau has to sell her idea for a song to her sisters and they have to approve of the idea. They then work on the song together lyrics/arrangement/all instruments.. that's the working model for most of their songs.
      How far along the idea for a song differs from song to song but once the 3 of them dig into it takes on a new life, sometimes it may remain close to the original idea and sometimes it goes in a different direction.

    • @MrSudeepdas
      @MrSudeepdas Před rokem

      @@awadoma2702 Thanks for your input.
      The Canadian supermarket part was from Dany's vlog which was ratified by all 3 girls in an interview later on with a Mexican host. And in Pau's masterclass in Soundcheck Xpo, 2022 she specifically talked about creating the bass intro for Disciple & composed the main structure before presenting to her sisters.
      While we all love to think that an artistic effort can be a joint collab the truth is the first idea comes from someone's brain. And that person is treated as gold in any creative industry because of his / her ability to create a concept. Polishing a concept into a finished product is the next step which can be done by others.
      BTW fans are aware of how The Warning creative process works - courtesy numerous interviews & documentaries. In fact Pau has to compose the basic pitch keeping in mind who will be singing which part. 😀

    • @awadoma2702
      @awadoma2702 Před rokem

      @@MrSudeepdas Yes longtime fans know how the creative process works but new fans don't and they pick up info from detailed posts like the one you just did here where you gave all the credit to Pau for writing the song by such words as "Pau wrote" and from that a new fan will believe that Pau wrote the song by herself with very little input from Dany and Ale.
      The way you put it she came up with the idea on vacation then went home and worked on it them after mostly finished presented it to her sisters.... the truth is she had an idea presented it to Dany while on vacation then when they got back home they at some point worked on the idea together and apart as per all other songs.
      You took the story they told everyone and instead of repeating as they told it you revised for whatever reason.
      They keep telling fans that that they each have ideas for songs then ideas get approved and then they work on them together, Pau is the most creative of the 3 and more of her ideas end up approved but each song is a product of the 3 of them working together.
      the only problem is there are too many fans that like to use "Pau wrote" when in fact it should be "they wrote"
      Fans also have no idea how much each contribute to a song because in most cases they do not go into a detailed play by play about how each song evolves to the finished product.
      Other then a handful of songs when educating new fans it should be "they wrote" not the usual "Pau wrote" because it does not matter how much each person had a hand in the creative process, if you were involved then you are part of the creative team.
      I'm sure sometime in the future as they get older and more experienced they will each write songs alone and at that point fans can say that person wrote it alone but for now they are a team and credit should be given to all 3 and not just to the most creative of the 3.

    • @MrSudeepdas
      @MrSudeepdas Před rokem

      @@awadoma2702 Most songs are written by Pau as per Dany & Ale in numerous interviews. She is their primary songwriter - as Dany says "Pau has the creative muscle". They all work on the instrumentation part of Pau's basic song starting with the guitar & bass and ending with drum parts. If there are any changes required in lyrics they get it done by Pau because she is the main lyricist.
      Disciple was written by Pau. She composed a basic tune including the bass intro & then pitched it in front of Dany & Ale. She got the idea of the riff in a Canadian supermarket & immediately ran upto Dany to let her know.
      As I said before in any creative process the person who gets that first spark of inspiration is regarded special. Developing a concept is easier than creating something out of nothing.
      So saying "Pau wrote" Disciple is not a misrepresentation of facts. And its deep metaphorical lyrics are a testament to the song being her creation rather than Dany's who is more straight forward in her poetry.
      Goodbye and thanks for your time. 😀

    • @madmex123
      @madmex123 Před rokem

      While it is true Pau is the most prolific of the three, Dany and Ale do contribute with ideas and basic Melodies as well. For instance, Choke was conceived by Dany, and pitched it to both of her sisters, and then the three of them collaborated to give it form.

Their interaction with each other and those around them is the stuff role models are made of. Also you need to itroduce Ash to one of the bands that not only helped motivate these ladies, but also gave them a huge push: Halestorm! Lzzy Hale is a HUGE fan of this band, that she even gifted Dani one of her custom guitars when Halestorm took them on tour as an opening band a while back.

    Hey Dave and Ash! It's a shame you missed them while they were in the UK earlier this summer, headlining and opening for Muse. They also played Download Fest.
    All of these songs they have released from Teatro Metropolitan are amazing. Also take into consideration they are from Monterrey, MX (elev. 600m or 2000 feet) and they were playing in Mexico City at an elevation of 7200+ feet (2200 Meters) in the thin air. Much more difficult to sing and exert so much effort on stage.

    Head to Mexico this October! on the 28th, they'll be putting on a show, at the Pepsi Arena, in Mexico City, which is, more than likely, going to blow this one away. Just do it! Take that once in a lifetime trip, and see a once in a lifetime concert. Many of The Warning's fans have flown from the UK, and all over Europe, to Mexico and/or the US, to see them. I flew from Connecticut to California, to see The Warning for the first time. The whole trip only cost $1000. USD; that included lodging for two nights, food, merch, concert ticket, everything. It was the the coolest, most radical thing I've ever done, and I do not regret it one bit. My channel icon is me with The Warning, on that California trip.
    I have now seen The Warning six times, and I can tell you, with all sincerity, all the other concerts I've been to, and there have bee a lot, as I'm 54 years old, simply pale in comparison. There is nothing quite like being in the same room with The Warning doing their thing.

They have been writing for nine years and they have almost 50 originals (all bangers), 2 EP's, 3 albums, 1 is a concept album, and they have a newish single with a couple more to come. They also have enough for a new album. They are currently touring while opening Guns and roses in north America. They are then heading to south America. Ale the bassist is still a teenager (18). This is one of the best first reactions to The Warning I've seen. They really are shockingly good. They're not a good girl band, or even a good band. They're a GREAT ROCK BAND, period. They have "paid their dues" for over ten years, and are about to explode on the world scene in 2024. This is a PRIME example of what finding your passion at an early age does to you. It fills you with a drug rush-like surge of creative energy and commitment to do your very best. This isn't just a great band. It is a fascinating success story for the whole family. Parents, Luis and Monica, must be special people to have raised such dedicated performers. I'm in awe of all of them. They have a rather extensive team of dedicated and professional support people who make things happen. Watch out, world!

    LOL, Ash's face looked kind of like mine did back in 2017 when I saw their TedX performance which finished up with 'Survive', and one of the coolest outro instrumentals I have heard since the 1980's or so. I was IN, hook, line, and sinker! There is so much more where this came from. Pick a song, any song, and you'll be good.😉 There are no bad ones in their repertoire. Some are better than others, depending on your musical tastes, but I have never seen any rock band since the late 1960's, that could write hit after hit, after hit, and never really write a bad one.😮 3 full albums, 2 EPs, and several singles later, and they're still going strong and will continue to do so, from what I can see! Please enjoy your trip down The Warning 'rabbit hole'.😄 🤘😎🤘

    You need to do "Dust to dust" at Teatro Metropolitan too 😀

  • @indvnc

    Maybe if you want to give Ash's cheeks a rest you can skip over "Dust to Dust" Live at Teatro Metropolitan for any other song from Teatro Metropolitan for her third exposure. But if she wants her mind blown for the 4th video I would suggest "Dust to Dust" Live at Teatro Metropolitan. If Dave has seen "Dust to Dust" at Lunario... that was 5 years ago... it is so much better now!!
    Ale drives "Dust to Dust". The song was built on her bassline. There are other surprises in the song as well.

    If your intro to them was when they were children doing Enter Sandman, you need to react to how they do the song today. NOT the one with Alessia Cara, but the one from this same concert at Teatro Metropolitan. It'll BLOW your mind.

    The three of them master their instrument as a guitar player i can tell u what danny does is so hard cause yeah playing and singing at the same time is hard but play a riff that has some melody and singing something that is completely a different melody damn is hard 😅 n well pau in the drums singing and making those fills its just amazing they just were in download fest, rock am ring and rock im park

    I'm glad your cheeks hurt Ash. You'll have the strongest cheeks in the UK because you have a lot of TW to react to. My suggestion is a song Paulina the drummer sings lead. The song is "Narcisista" released as a single in 2019 and is their first song recorded in Spanish. This is the premiere live performance of the song from the Foro Didi entertainment complex in their hometown of Monterrey, Mx. Daniela guitar 19; Paulina drums, lead vocals 17; Alejandra bass 14.

    Great reaction! And dont worry! I believe in 2024 The Warning will be close to you soon, because they have to play in the Wacken 2024 in Germany, for sure they will make a tour close to you for that date.

    Great reaction, This really shows you what can happen in a 10 or 11 year span.
    I am A71 year old hippie freak more freak than a hippie, But I thought rock and roll was dead I would have to listen to reruns from back in the 60s and 70s and part of the 80s.
    But who would have known that 3 beautiful sisters from Monterey Mexico would bring back real rock and their own original.
    You cannot pigeonhole their type of music because you never know what you're gonna get But you do know it's gonna be great, Because all 3 are great musicians and love playing music.
    I don't know if I said it are already or not but welcome to the rabbit hole you are going to love this ride and love of music
    You have been warned

    Stick with the Teatro live performances for now. The Warnings first MV was XXI Century Blood. Title track off their first album. It has won several awards and is captivating and eye opening. Worth a watch. My favorite two songs are Crimson Queen, and Money. Good luck.

    The lady is very sharp - her logical deduction that a band formed by friends will unlikely have such a young bassist hence this is a band of sisters. Elementary my dear Watson.
    It seems that you missed 7 performances in the UK by The Warning from end May to End June.
    - 4 openers for Muse at Plymouth, Huddersfield, Glasgow & Milton Keynes
    - a private concert at Bush Hall, London
    - opening day 2 of Download at 1 pm on a side stage with a packed field of about 25,000+
    - headlining sold out show at O2 Islington, London

  • @keniavalladaresmontanez9839

    Yeah, the three of them put out hella noise.
    Hey rock world, the future is female, embrace it. I think these three sisters are helping to lead the way. I love it.
    I second the suggestion of the TedX talk from 2017. There is good stuff in there.
    Then add anything from the Teatro concert. It was so well recorded and filmed.

If she want's cute she really should not miss *10 Year Old Girl Drummer- Paulina From Mexico - My Life Would Suck-Cobus Version.*

    I saw them 3 times in the UK this summer and they were awesome! I saw them open for Muse in Huddersfield - great but big stadium and short set although they rocked it! I saw them at Download where they opened the day on the Opus stage and I reckon 30k turned out to see them and they went down a storm. Then they announced a final UK date (the last date of the European tour) at the O2 Islington and we got tickets. Nothing prepares you for.how good they are live. CZcams videos no matter how good, can't prepare you for how much energy they have, how tight they are, how good they work the crowd and how LOUD they are! My ears were ringing for days! I drove from 11:00 Sheffield and back.on the night to see them and they were awesome. You have to see them. They are playing Wacken OA next summer so.theyll be in Europe so there's a good chance they'll make the UK again I hope. They are a must-see if they do. Great reaction by the way!!

    Next for Ash, Dust to Dust, Lunario,to see more Pau (the drummer) singing! Then More, for the most recent song, trying new sounds. Back to TedX performance, the whole 3 songs or just Survive. For video, I don’t think XXI Century Blood can be beat. And the Narcasista and Martirio, for their Spanish songs. So many more…..
