Wow! Beautiful!
Slick. I hope it comes to fruition. 👍🏾
6 persons per minute?
How do you deal with breach of vacuum chamber when the air entering the vacuum will be moving close to speed of sound and the impact against train of 1bar of air at speed of sound in diameter of hyperloop tube is measured in gigajoules? This would kill the people stuck in the tubes and crumble the wagon.
How do you vacuum out that much air from the tubes in reasonable time when vacuum compressors can not be particularly large due to the need for extreme RPM's and high g's on the blades?
What do you with thermal expansion where the tubes welded together over 100km would move at least 30 meters back and forth at end-points due to thermal expansion?
A rubber seal of 2 meter in diameter that can compress 5cm each 100 meters is not realistic or safe and can cause vacuum breach...
Personally I think a solution to your first problem/question is a chamber with 2 doors: 1 door to outside and 1 door to the hyperloop. When you go from outside in the chamber, (the door to the hyperloop is closed) the door from outside closes and the air will be sucked away until the whole chamber is vacuum. Then the door to the hyperloop will be opened and the vehicle can go.
There is no solution to those problems. They are relying on the general public's belief in the techno-optimists who are making billions off of the governments of various countries giving subsidies/tax breaks etc. The intelligent people in government around the world know that capitalism and the negative consequences of it e.g branding, advertising, marketing and competition will be the reason earths atmosphere is toxic to humans by the end of this century at best.
Governments are to scared or stupid to outlaw the process of incorporation along with branding/advertising/marketing and most signage. They are also so reliant on the ponzi scheme that is modern western society that they aren't promoting population decreases even though some scientists say there are about 7 billion more people on earth than the planet can support without the use of unsustainable crap like petro-chemical fertilizer they in fact are encouraging immigration because they need more tax payers to support their environmentally destructive lifestyles.
Time to shut the worlds airports and shutdown hair brained schemes like Hyper Loop! and the green-washing that most business in the western world is engaged in. Industrial civilization is absolutely unsustainable if we don't keep the earths population around 500 million people.
The ingenious solution entrepreneurs have created is the "hype" in hyperloop. With this invention you can solve the pressure problem with a fancy video where the only three people in a populated terminal travel with convenience to their important business meeting.
Which brings me to my next question. Is part of the implementation of hyperloop to wipe out 99% of the population with some deadly plague? In said future city where hyperloop is a thing, the city looks like a setting from Stephen King's "The Stand".
@@JethroTClampet You're both right and funny. That's the best kind of right.
You really don't need to worry about vacuum in a computer generated animation. The hypeloop is nothing more than animations and some toy models. Who has said otherwise?
Europe was not able to build a regular supertrain before, why would we suddenly be able to build an even more complicated one?
Well Europe wouldn’t be building it the hyperloop company would

pleas make us fulfil uae aletihad hyperloop enter emirates project thank
The hypeloop will be absolutely fast, safe, cheap, pleasant, and environmental friendly. Not to mention it will generate more energy than it needs.
Why does that sound like a scam? 🤣
On top of that it's easy to build, that's why Elon Musk is letting students build it.
"It's not that hard." 🤣
I DONT CARE YOU F**kER
Investeerders en een potje van de overheid en made dankzij de belastingbetalers. De grote hebben een vinger in de pap maar of t wat wordt is een tweede en de paradijs bezitters van de olie.. een mooi verhaal met een dikke portomonee voor project eigenaren.
Good job - Delft is a great school in the NL
Mission impossible. Hyperloop is only running in virtual reality. Impossible in the real world.
Bruh what. How is it impossible
@@ilikelebronjames6426 To ensure low pressure over kilometers of distance is practically impossible.
@@ilikelebronjames6426 It is impossible for long distances.
First, air leakage will be very hard to prevent, and to reach the low pressure long vacuum pumping times are needed. Second, passenger safety will be expensive. Suppose the capsule is stuck midway the loop. You need to rescue these people before they suffocate. The oxygen supply in the capsule not only should last during the planned travel, but also the time to rescue. Thirdly, the capsule needs to be air tied, otherwise the passengers will suffocate or acts an autoclave. The pressure and humidity in the capsule will therefore rise, due to breathing. The burning of calories delivers more gas molecules (C12H22O11 + 17.5 O2=12 CO2+ 11 H2O), than oxygen consumed.
@@Galileosays well tbh I disagree with the fact that you think keeping a tube with low or no pressure is impossible. Couldn’t there be pipes running along the inside of the tube constantly sucking out air? Also, there is absolutely no reason the hyperloop pod itself would break. The hyper tube tube that Carrie the pod has nothing in it that could poke a hole in the pod. So I don’t really think it’s a problem that we need to think of
@@Galileosays as once again you said, “what if people were stuck on the middle of the loop” there is no friction so that wouldn’t happen even if there was no more source of anergy left. The thing you would have to worry about it braking and slowing down. The hyperloop pod would have to have some kind of emergency brake, but that wouldn’t be too hard to put in

Dream on ... even the winner with 466km (media hype called it a world record, a world record of WHAT certainly not speed). and the statement like a metro system..... erm no . a metro stops and you get in...and out at every station you wish , good luck squeezing pods into a ongoing row of pods going at ""airline speeds" you must accelerate instant or you spot is gone. since it only houses 6 people you have rather big amount of pods moving around. price wise... meeh
The biggest cost factors are land & pipe production. Those can be amortized over a long period of time. All you need to do, at that point, is maximize the amount of pods per pipe. Multiple stops can join the main pipe provided there is sufficient run-on pipe for the joining pod to get up to speed.
Engineers will eventually always find a solution to a naysayer's problems :)
looks like this is only for liberals that hate aircraft. if you wait long enough it maybe made in biodegradable cardboard. running at the speed of light.
@@RobinTeuwens Just like they found solutions to the problems with Theranos, Mars One, and ...oh, wait. They didn't found solutions, did they? And that's how hypeloop will end as well.
@@m.hansen1149 As long as the obstacles are engineering challenges and not physical limitations, I'll take you on that bet.
@@RobinTeuwens How would you differentiate between those two kinds of obstacles? Which of them made the Theranos blood test impossible to manufacture?
Honestly, you don't sound like a wholeheartedly believer in the hypeloop. A wager is now conditional on which kind of obstacle will end the project? So whatever it'll be build or not, you can say "Told you so."
But nice to see you're doubting the feasibility of the project. Maybe there's still hope for you.

Only a concept! just anther fantasy hype video! prove that the concept of hyperloop works at 500 miles/h over 100 miles of track,
before wasting time & money.
Hof stupid is that statement. Everything needs to be developed first. Nothing comes out of nothing! They are all making tremendous advances in a very short time.
Nothing new to show here. but more hype videos about the same!
