It's tricky with the Nerd (AVGN, not me, lol) because he's got such a back catalogue and there's such expectation that it's hard to keep going I think.
In one of his "behind the scenes" videos he mentioned that he was deliberately using a more simple format so we won't see any more Bugs Bunny type episodes.

I owned Taito Legends and loved Dungeon Magic and Arabian Magic with my sister. But the rest was really mediocre garbage indeed.

The reason Cameltry is called, well, Cameltry, is because it was one of those sponsor games, associated with Camel cigarettes. It would eventually get ported to the SNES, where the name was changed to On The Ball ( for obvious reasons)

The long neck with human head he mentioned in Kiki Kaikai is actually a Japanese demon from Yokai mythology. Yokai also means demon in Japanese. This demon usually takes form of a pretty lady and stretch out it's neck to scare the livings. You can look it up on Wikipedia or Google for more information about these oriental creatures.
