@@lenabo9929 More like impossible to out without VERY specific cracked hands that are never common. Best way to do it is Dark Ruler and Evenly and have a starter, too. Good luck with that one.
I wonder how many of that wins were in time. Plants seems to be extremly strong winning in time and people underestimate that 🤔
@@ThiloNorris Most decks can't afford to run time cards because most the other decks currently don't go to time, lol
Abusing time rules isn't something we should be embracing as a community. I'm curious about experimenting with BO2 like Lorcana tbh. Its either that, or extending events like this to 3 day events which doesn't seem realistic.

Anyone championing plants is wild. That deck is top tier annoying. Still sanctifire or puppet needs to go with some more hits to plants 😂.
Honest opinion I think it will be sanctfire will be banned
If they banned nightmare puppet they would go back to using ra's deciple or another monster that basically locks you into not being able to special summon

@@orga7777 yes and no. The problem is it can bring back other floodgate monsters even if you ban gimmick puppet. They just aren’t as solid as gimmick puppet.

Sitting there not being able to attempt to break an opponents board because u have no way to out the puppet lock for them to pass turn for them to kill you the next turn

El año pasado Branded ganó la rededor de 5 Nacionales, hoy el Branded acaba de ganar su primer nacional de la temporada y la gente chilla para que baneen al Sanctifire, son ridículos.

Imagínate viajar, pagar hospedaje, jugar por dos días seguidos, aguantar horas y horas de rondas, lograr llegar a la final, y perder no por un asunto de habilidad sino porque no te dejaron jugar.
Creo que el problema aquí es ese. Independiente de si branded no topea o no, eso es algo que no debería ser permitido.
@@WongRei Decir algo así es cómo si no supieras nada de lo que se trata el Yugi, Rikka Sunnavalon también juega locks, Lock summon de plantas y lock de activación de mágicas e incluso Jessica jugaba Rivalry, ve el juego número 2 el cuál ganó Jessica porque evidentemente era un campo imposible de vencer.
@@DarkSystem999 de hecho estoy de acuerdo contigo eso no debería existir. Jugando locales me dejaron un campo impasable con rikka y de no ser porque tenía super poly y me dejaron poner una yubel en campo, no hubiera podido jugar.

Yeah. The only real way to beat the board. AND you need a starter. Just draw two unsearchable non-engine and a starter and then you can win. EZ... Not. Which is why I don't feel bad about Puppet making Plants cry. Eff Plants.
the last match is just a shame.... is that what yu gi oh looks like? puppet autowin? i prefer watch snake eyes mirrors than this... not to mention the fact that this was the only game she lots, and she lost to puppet lock 2 times. no interactions, no chanches to even play... the fact that combo is consistent in branded, and it's even well protected by branded lost it's just unfair
This is why hand traps are a must this format. If you play on board breakers, you will get punished by puppet lock. This is what we saw here

Dont ban Sanctifire, just ban puppet. Banning sanctifire means we wont have the lock set up easily. We will need to give up an end board or materials if we wait to set up a lock. So quicker board if Branded decides to go for some lock.
Thats why they should ban sanctifire. Branded shouldn’t have a lock. If they ban puppet they just switch to orthros ras desciple ido or jowgen

@@orga7777 That wasn’t my point. I’m speaking in a vacuum about the hits that branded needs, not the format in general. Obviously decks like snake eye and tenpai need hits, and cards like shifter and skill drain gotta go too. All I was saying is that as a part of those hits sanctifire should go to. If they opt to hit the puppet, branded just plays one of the 30 other floodgate monsters to summon off sanctifire instead.
