- The new Upcoming Boeing Airplane Will Shock You
The new Upcoming Boeing Airplane Will Shock You! The Boeing 777X, which has been called "the world's largest and most efficient twin-engine jet," was supposed to go into commercial service in 2020. However, since it was first announced, there have been a lot of delays. Folding wingtips are a first for commercial aviation and might be the most interesting thing about the outside of the plane, which is now set to make its debut in 2025. But what would it look like when seen from the inside? At the Farnborough Airshow, a trade show for the aviation industry that took place this month in the UK, Boeing was proud to show off a test version of the 777-9X, which is one of two versions of the 777X. This gave passengers an idea of what they could expect in the future.

Please call it the Triple 7X.

Yes please. If you're running an aviation channel use industry terminology. I actually stopped watching because I didn't want to hear "seven seven seven" one more time. My wife thanked me, you were driving her nuts too.
Americans donât say triple or double - ever. đ
@@chlorinedawson4576 how does that relate? Triple 7 is the designated terminology for the aircraft

I know! Right? As opposed to all those other aircraft, where the flight deck is...in the rear toilets?
were they thinking of putting it outside the cockpit, that would be awful breezy for the pilots
Talking about the A350 and showing a 737 ... excellent work.
đđđđ
Yea, I saw that too. !!!
Around the 2:50 mark we are told that overhead bins will hold forty percent less weight and twice as much "cargo" as "standard bins"?! That makes no sense.
1:52 it also says that the successor of this boeing plane is the airbus A350-1000. Makes no sense at all
No it doesnât make sense at all.
Itâs called marketing. Makes sense if you need to get business aka confuse customers đ
Channels like this don't bother doing proper research. They just throw everything together and then sit back and wait for the clicks.
fully agreeâŠthere are about 5 engineering impossibilities in the narrativeâŠ.
Who wrote this narration? Itâs all over the place. âThe flight deck is in the cockpitâ. Brilliant!
I too have always admired, appreciated Boeing, esp. Boeing -747.
'Triple 7X" sounds better than "Seven Seven Seven X"

I am absolutely shocked and stunned, such a range of emotions.
I honestly don't know how I'm going to cope.

That one went right over there heads, eh?

I think the real shock here will be when Boeing actually deliver this plane to its first customer.
Lookss impressive. Traditional fuselage look. Interior seating seems comfortable. Hope they perfect this design for delivery
I hope the new plane will shock me in a different way than the last.
You were right! I am really shocked that this new aircraft overhead bins that will hold 40% less than previous models! And by the fact that there is actually a flight deck in the cockpit for a change! What will they think of next?
đ€Ł
He said it for twin engine airplane.
I'm beyond shocked! What is Boeing thinking!?
Less overhead bins and more seats for more annoying people bring even more carry-ons to fit in less space. What could go wrong here?
I sense several mistakes in this...did he not say 40% LESS weight but TWICE as much cargo volume? Maybe he meant to say 40% MORE weight? Why ON EARTH would they make it bigger, add seats, and REDUCE overhead bin capacity? Also, 775 THOUSAND pounds?! That is double a c-5! Not possible, right? Surely he meant 77,500 lbs?
Finally, overhead bins that can hold 40% LESS weight. At last ! Not.
Yes, but twice as much cargo.
@@rogerhargreaves2272 Cargo has weight, my friend, 40% less of it.
I think they mean the overhead bins are much lighter than the current 777 bins but hold much more weight.
Also, up to 30% fewer successful landings.
no this is true..they have installed anti-gravity coil in each bin
4:14 "The flight deck is inside the cockpit". đđđđđ
actually in 777x the entire aircraft is a massive cockpit
wow, that is forward thinking, technology on the cutting edge
RR say they wont have an engine ready for the 777X until 2027 but expect it to be a revolutionary design with adjustable pitch fan blades with a bypass ratio up to 50% greater than the GE9x
RR is still trying to fix their 787 engine?
I wouldnât count on it.
This is real ground breaking stuff, RR will come good with the latest tech. You don't recall the early days of the Pratt and Whitney engines of the 747 in the early 70s! I experienced a failure about every 6 months- the only jet I ever flew around with engines out. The RB211 was up there with the best for the 747, and developed on to be unmatched for the 787.
Technologically, it sounds great. That said, adding an extra seat per row makes it pretty cramped on long haul flights
Just flew the A350 economy by Lufthansa ... can't be worse.
Itâs all about the Benjaminâs
I flew from Los Angeles to Tokyo to Manila on a 777 last year and nobody sat next to me. So it depends.
Hope they didn't cram any extra seats in the cockpit!

You need to consider proofing your script to clean out errors and wasteful repetition, and then actually develop video related to whatâs being said. The random montage of video clips is a waste of our time.
This video was very disrespectful of the audience.
currently undergoing rigorous testing everyone can learn to trust. All progress always have a cost. The renewed Drealmliner has superior comfort with absorbant wings.
An adult person can actually look out the damn window? Itâs about time. Iâm over 6 feet tall and couldnât bend down enough to see out of the 737 windows.
Iâm a big fan of the 777,worked on them for 10 years at the American Airlines Alliance Maintenance Base. But what does Boeing have behind the curtain for tomorrow? It better come soon and be of higher quality than current models because Airbus is kicking Boeings ass right now.
Not in the widebody space. Boeing still dominates there. It's the 320 vs 737 Boeing has a gap.
the way bro was saying 777 i cant đđđ
The flight deck is inside the cockpit. That's shocking
I donât know if we can stand another shock from Boeing.
Near vertical , please whats your definition of near vertical
Shock me if it ever gets into the air. Than with Boeing history will the 777X stay in the air.
I wish the blended wing concept would become reality sooner.
As someone who in my young days worked on modification 747 designs and still a fan of 747 I think on the short hauls airbus is King. I haven't flown 777 one of these days.
Agree. airbus better than 737
Gee it must be the most tested aircraft in history !! First flew in 2020 not in commercial use till 2025 .
Boeing isn't the sensation that it used to be, after the deadly crashes of 737 max and problems with batteries of 787 !!!
I think Airbus are way ahead of boeing as far as safety and reliability are concerned
And airbus hasnât had any problems yea ok
That's why the airlines continue to buy thousands of Boeing aircraft and almost all of the longer routes are serviced exclusively by Boeing aircraft.....777, 747 and 787's. Great comment with no basis in fact. The longest route is flown by a 787-10.
The longest comercial Route is done by an A350 Singapore Airlines, Singapore to New York.
â@@RLTtizMEActually, the 787-9 was used for Project Sunrise from London to Sydney. The 787-10 has the shortest range of the 787 family. In commercial use, currently at least, the 350-1000 has the longest routes so far.
@@CerberusTenshi Once again...the MAGORITY of long haul routes are serviced by 777 and 787 aircraft. You can prove this to yourself by selecting random samplings on Flightradar 24. The single aircraft with the longest range is the Boeing 777-200LR. The range difference between the A350 and and the Dreamliner is miniscule.
Yeah, shock me. I had a terrifying breakfast this morning that shocked me and terrified America. Stupid hype that adds to the unbelief of anything on CZcams.

2055 maybe.

Word on the street is there will be standing room only on these flights.
A decent editor should take a red pen to this script - so many repetitions and inanities to make an interesting story boring.
You should change your first name. It angers people.
The engineering effort that has been put into the design of 777x is substantial. Additional scrutiny of factors affecting safety has no doubt extended the flight testing of the aircraft considerably. The FAA is, based on various media reports being exceptionally cautious with the certification process for the 777x. A critical step in certification is when FAA pilots fly the 777x instead of Boeing test pilots. This step should be very close to happenings as Boeing announced it has 4 test aircraft ready for the next step. Hopefully the FAA will do a thorough examination of the aircraftâs performance with safety procedures being a high priority. Not sure why it will take till 2025 to complete the certification.
About time for both Boeing and the FAA.
That is a terrible idea to let FAA pilots do the initial testing, if they are there, the as FO's but never in control position where they can do damage without being penalized, since the government does not act in the best interest of Boeing, this is based on a long history.
Additionally pilots have always been close to the design team and build sa working relationship conccerned with design limits, best practices etc. All in complete contrast with uninformed FAA 'pilots', who take their orders from potential political bosses.
The FAA is not the customer, which sets the military as customers apart, where military pilots are usually assigned to do the testing.
@@Arturo-lapaz Thanks for replying. Various news sources have reported that this is what the FAA will do as part of the certification process. Boeing pilots would meet to be present during the test flights to ensure that any FAA pilot concerns could answered immediately.
@@DJAYPAZ One important point:
Certification is following the applicable FAR's ... Federal Air Regulations. Nowhere there is a requirement that FAA pilots perform the test flying.
Those pilots have no engineering background, let alone the ability to judge the performance, compliance of the aircraft. Worse they have no knowledge of the fabrication process, the hydraulic/electric systems. They would have to be trained and certificated, before allowed to operate the airplane by the Boeing flight instructors.
Starting in flight simulators a very expensive process. Who pays that?
Company test pilots are longtime Boeing employees known and trusted. Part of the development team, not some people hired for this purpose by some bureocrats, who are not pilots.
At Lockheed I new some, ie Tony Levier, proven test pilot, first pilot to fly the U2 and learning in the process. .......
.
Please do your research to provide a safe airplane. Check and recheck everything and keep flying. Donât be in competition with Airbus but rather put a great product in the market. I believe the plane should have better range though. I am looking forward to flying on the A350-900 someday. Remember that it is extremely important that you put a product that will fly and not have incidence as the 737 max did because the Boeing company was trying to be in competition with Airbus.
Boeing started in 1916 | Airbus Started in 1970, who is competing? it does'nt matter anyhow...
I think Boeing and the FAA have learnt their lesson. Boeing absolutely needs a culture overhaul though, you can't produce a quality product when you treat your staff like sh!t.
This plane has been checked and wont be like the incidence 737max as it is nothing like it. This plane will change the world when it is certified
>
Perhaps Boeing should pay closer attention to the airlines that buy their airplanes. Remember, no 737Max airplanes were lost by American, Southwest or United. Do not let Lion Air or Ethiopean Airline pilots anywhere near an airplane until they have passed rigorous simulator AND flight training.
Airbus planes are very quiet & smoother. Boeing needs to address those areasâŠ..
Airbus aircraft are generic and uninspired. They need to address those areas.
Totally agree with you
Boeing does not address the smoothness and quietness of the plane!
I believe the watertanks also add weight for testing passenger and cargo fluctuations and weight variations to receive a more accurate fuel and travel information

I hope it gets tested with one and or both wing tips either removed or stuck in the upright position. If not, that will be the first cause of failure.

What's the purpose of the folding wing tips? I don't understand the need for them. Is it so the planes can be parked closer together at terminals?
