I stayed in a Manxin hotel in Nanjing last month, I loved it, the service was so good, you always get welcoming fruits on the arriving day and small gifts leaving. Breakfast also good, staff nice😊

I stayed at one Manxin Hotel in Wuhan few months ago. The service is perfect. And the facilities are also well rounded. But this one you stayed is far more modernised than mine.

The machine in the hotel is a robot. When the hotel phone rings, it means that the robot has arrived at your room with something to deliver. Nowadays, robots are basically standard equipment in Chinese hotels. Generally, Chinese people order takeout, and the delivery personnel will place the food inside the robot. The robot then delivers it to your room, ensuring that no non-hotel guests access the hotel floors.
If you stick to the hotel level of about ¥400-600, it'll be the similar quality. I usually go to the "Orange Crystal" Hotel.

15:08 If you stick with hotels in this price and yes pretty sure they are in the same quality. Better choose chained hotel brands (Manxin, Atour, Quanji etc.) and avoid travel in China's public holiday coz all things are wayyyyyyyy more expensive everywhere in China.

$70 per night would be conside above medium hotel in China, not the top level tho. There are lots luxary hotels beside this one, one I can remember would be W-hotel, all their service would be better especially the buffet, but those could cost more than $150 per night. Anything below $40 would be conside enonomy hotels.

I’m not sure if you have interest in Chinese LGBTQ culture, But if you do, I highly recommend you to go to chengdu and chongqing, I don’t know why, but it seems like a capital of Chinese LGBTQ group, They have a lot of good gay bars. In order to keep the fruit fresh, Chinese hotels deliver fruit to guests after they check in. The first call you received was to remind you that a robot was delivering fruit to you, and to open the door to receive the fruit. You didn't understand, so the front desk staff asked the cleaning lady to come and remind you in person. Domestic tourists in China know this rule. You act like an amateur, but don't Dutch hotels have this service yet?
