Twelve of them are located on Hong Kong Island, and the remaining 30 are located across the New Territories, including the Outlying islands. The sand is soft and the views are amazing. Victoria Harbour(not river)is a natural landform harbour in Hong Kong separating Hong Kong Island in the south from the Kowloon Peninsula to the north. The harbour's deep, sheltered waters and strategic location on South China Sea were instrumental in Hong Kong's establishment as a British colony in 1841 and its subsequent development as a trading centre.

As a HKer working in California, I can easily tell you a few of the blatant lies that the US spreads about HK:
      1. Travel alert was raised to Level 3 (Reconsider travel) during the unrest, but quietly returned to Level 2 after exactly zero Americans were arrested without due cause.
      2. The falsehood that China “broke” the Hong Kong Basic Law when they actually used Annex 3 to add additional foreign affairs limitations with the NSL.
      3. The falsehood that the 2019 unrest was “pro-freedom”. They were not only far from dissenters of government, they actively assaulted and intimidated their critics-exactly the behaviours they claimed to be against. They also liked to doxx and bully the children of serving police officers, yes, so free and democratic of them.
Even Deutsche Welle had the guts to challenge the legitimacy of a movement that refused to renounce its wanton violence against fellow Hong Kongers.

Would you dare to shout in the streets of Hong Kong that Xi Jinping should step down? Would you dare to openly oppose the Hong Kong government within the city? A simple trip to the mountains to wear incense won't reveal the true essence of Hong Kong. It only proves how superficial your understanding really is.😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

The thing is Jack, you won’t do the same in the US. Why would I shout bad things in the streets about their government? It’s their country, they do what they want and I am just there to enjoy their hospitality and amazingly rich culture. You should visit them yourself and I’m sure you’ll change your opinion 😎🙏🏼

It looks like very thing is ok but actually, Hongkong is not a normal city now.
Right now, there are at least 48 persons, including University Professors, Lawyers, Teachers, Reporters spending their 4th year in prison and without trial. China govt is going to keep them in life imprisonment.
It's just because their thoughts are against China. And there are hundreds of Hongkong ordinary people have been sentenced to jail for over 5 years. At least 2 persons in prison were forced to do TV show to say China govt is absolutely right in exchange for less torture in prison.
Even in Africa, country like Senegal, the old president would only keep his rivalry leader Bassirou Diomaye Faye in prison for just 1 year and then allow him to join the president election and let him be the next president after fair election.
How can you pretend to know nothing about them and continue to play happily in Hongkong?
That's what the China govt want you to do.
Please read "European Union message to China on human rights day" before going to China.
