Joining the EU is the best thing Armenia can do for itself. It is the best path into the future for many reasons.

      Three questions.
1.) Will Russia allow it or doing everything to interrupt this process like in Georgia, Ukraine or even using it's proxy in Baku? His proxies in Yerevan are not going to be successful.
      2) Is the EU willing, able to support Armenia diplomatically, financially, with boots on the ground or armaments and billions of Euros?
3.) Why not try to play a balanced game like Baku and Ankara?

@@owlmirror178 being a Turk, you shpuld understand the sting of betrayal. Thats what Yerevan feels
now, and what russia thinks is moot. The EU will do more for Armenia than Georgia because Georgia never fully aligned with the qest. Most Armenians on Earth live in the west. Ankara has the power ro be balanced. Baku, more accuratepy, Aliyev, is just selfish and cares nothing for his people. Aliyev just wants to survive with his wealth.

A historical strategic deal with Georgia should be the flrst thing to be done in the agenda. Armenia needs it desperately to get rid of its landlocked geography and it can only be provided by Georgia. Leaving all the disputes from the past aside, for sake of both nations’ future. Common goal of joining the EU is the only generator of such partnership for both Armenia and Georgia. Referendum is a must, if the outcome comes out to be in favor of EU, Armenia and Georgia should act together in each step. Without the “Historical deal”, after initial euphoria, you will sit in the waiting room forever.
