Hi Sean, very good video on the sensor track. You should purchase the eTRAIN Command software. It’s only $35.00. I use this software on my little layout and it’s awesome. It will allow you to control all of your trains plus you can make recordings with the software. The number of scenarios that you can record is only limited to your available hard drive space on your PC plus it provides a 10,000 command count recording per scenario. Basically, I use my sensor track to stop the train in a precise location for passenger stops and accessory loading and unloading. Whatever recording that you made with your sensor track can be included in the main recording of your scenario. So if you’re making a general recording of a scenario, and you want to activate a particular sensor track function, it can be included, however; if you want the train to pass over that particular sensor track during a recording, you can deactivate it while it’s recording. The train then passes over that sensor and the sensor is asleep so nothing will happen. There are numerous things you can do with this software. It’s also WiFi capable which is what I use. The developer is a Lionel third party partner just like high rail. The developer will work with you one on one to get you up and running.
Hi Sean from the UK not all of those instructions are in the book that comes with the sensor track so thanks for the video. I have been using the record command on my legacy remote, which does a lot of the same things, but run out of recording time. Love your layout by the way. Wish you a Merry Christmas from the other side of the big pond
