Text of this song is also beautiful. I'll leave translation in English below.
    The Nomads
In the desert heat, the sand
    blows like ice-cold snow
The night soon spreads its wings
Nothing but the wind to escort the nomads
That is the way they wander from one day to the next
That is the way they wander from one life to the next
That is the way it weaves an invisible path
on them, it waits until you are ready to take the risk
    It carries only frozen souls
    The moonlight makes their shadows
Warmth in a ray of sunlight
is what the morning brings once again
That is the way they wander from one day to the next
That is the way they wander from one life to the next
That is the way it weaves an invisible path
on them, it waits until you are ready to take the risk
They wander from one day to the next
They wander from one life to the next
    It weaves an invisible path
It waits until you are ready to take the risk
A voice echoes across the mountains up to the heavens
That is the way they wander from one day to the next
That is the way they wander from one life to the next
That is the way it weaves an invisible path
on them, it waits until you are ready to take the risk
    That is the way

Eurovision Fan 2014 was an awesome year for Eesti Laul. They had at least 4 potential winner entries in the competition (one of them was Sandra Nurmsalu) and they finally chose that awful expressive dancer lady who didn't even qualified for the final. Still all of Estonia should be retroactively slapped in the face...

    • @ArgosAdventures
      @ArgosAdventures Před 5 lety +4

2014 Sandra Nurmsalu got fucked over by judges. Most of the judges were friends of Tanja and even Tanjas husband was a judge!!! They gave Sandra low points, that she would not get into top2. That year Top 2 went into phone votes and people decided who will win. Sandra was clearly best entry that year. Tanja was all playback and didnt sing live. It's humanly impossible to sing so clearly while jumping around all over the place. Traffic -"Für Elise" was other geat entry that year.

    Nomads
In the heat of the desert, the sand

    Night laying down its wings
Only wind stays with the nomads
This is the path, they travel thus from day to day
This is the path, they travel then from age to age
This is the path, it runs as an unseen road
Before them it waits if you dare to risk it
Sole companion to the frozen souls
    Moonlight making shadows of them
    Sunrays of warmth
    Morning brings once again
This is the path, they travel thus from day to day
This is the path, they travel then from age to age
This is the path, it runs as an unseen road
Before them, it waits if you dare to risk it
They travel thus from day to day
They travel then from age to age
It runs as an unseen road
It waits if you dare to risk it
Over the mountains a voice echoes to the sky
This is the path, they travel thus from day to day

The winner of Eurovision 2009 was Alexander Rybak's Fairytale, learn that name and song title, you're going to come across it a lot. As for Estonia 2009, they finished in 6th, which is underrated for me as I firmly believe that they deserved to win. You've already reacted to the 2nd place song (Yohanna's Is It True) and 4th place song (Hadise's Dum Tek Tek) and Randajad is so much better than they are. Sandra Nurmsalu (the singer) sang incredibly well and the song is so mystical and unique, there was nothing like it in 2009 and even nowadays, when Eurovision songs aren't afraid to experiment more, there still really hasn't been another Estonia 2009.
