Imagine how good she'd be at it if she was actually trained.
Yeah, she had all these attempts to halt that finale performance but they kept working in their favor instead. And moments after, she ranted at them and said, "I'm the star, you stupid...stupid cat! I should have drowned you all when I flooded the stage!" And the whole theater heard that. Well, that proved publicly that she's a brat kid star who hates animals. 😏
That's actually pretty funny!

Scott Baluka's singing was pretty impressive in this movie. He managed to hold his own with Natalie Cole.

+Dylan Kaiser It didn't do enough publicity. It was very well received, but it had only one trailer, so it wasn't previewed enough.
+Dylan Kaiser Also came out around the same time as Lion king. Movie lost millions but was one of the most successful failures ever. No animated film has been that highly rated with so little views
+Dylan Kaiser It was a production of Turner Feature Animation (split off from Hanna-Barbera), and was in the late stages of its production when Turner and Time Warner merged in late 1996. When the film came out in 1997, Warner Bros. didn't support it at all (some have speculated that they killed it in order to keep it from undercutting the debut of their own animated film - "Quest for Camelot" - which was due for release in 1998). Most people who've seen it probably saw it on the Disney Channel years later.

It's been years, but I just realized...nothing did stop them, not even the roof blowing off the place. They just kept enjoying their time on stage with the audience, this was a great movie.

I really wish this movie received more attention than what it did. It was brilliant to me and this was always one of my favorite songs in the film!

From the moment this song starts up, if only for a moment, I'm sitting there in the basement of our old house, watching this for the 1st time, the only light is coming from the t.v. My lil' bro and I sat side by side throughout the whole thing jammin' out to every song & trying to sing the words to songs we'd never heard before! I can remember when they began to sing, both our jaws dropped - we fell in love with their singing & we fell in love with the movie! It was instantanious!
