Nikon P1000. 125x optical magnification, 4K 60, image stabilization. I’ve zoomed in able to see Saturn’s rings. I haven’t used it yet to film shooting, but “Mark and Sam after work” use it.
This is for folks who don’t want to buy a camera or fiddle with one either. This is for people who already have a spotting scope and cell phone in their pocket. There is a huge price difference if you already have those 2 things lol
@@yourmommashouse Sure, you’re going to spend more on a P 1000 than a $200 smart phone adapter, but you’re gonna fiddle with it a whole lot less, and it’s a lot cheaper than some of the other options he ran through for comparison.
This system looks like a great setup. I was impressed with the image quality at distance 👍🏽 .. hope your doing well, feeling good and living strong 💪🏽🤙🏽
Yet another great content. You are putting into it a lot of knowledge and experience gained with tools you are using so I do hope you'll get your share of it from manufacturers. Have a great weekend. keep 'em posted.
I've been trying to figure out a solution for some longer range stuff (500 yards) I would like to film for my own CZcams channel and I'm glad I came across this! Thanks for the amazing info!
I agree with your recommendation on them using aperture size. I went looking for one but didn’t see one for the poors like me that will be getting an Anthlon. 😂😂😂. Thanks Ray.
Neat. I have the same spotting scope. I've been using PhoneSkope and it works ok. I did have to get different adaptor for the LER EP & the Zoom. I might give this one a try.
Sweet. Just picked up the Razor HD 16-48x65 and need a digiscope adaptor. One thing Im curious to try is if I can use the 100x zoom on the S22 Ultra stacked on the spotting scope zoom (not for shooting, for the moon and stuff). I may buy this though. Have you used the magview product yet? Wonder how that compares
Ray, I already ordered one, can't wait to try it out. I have a separate question, I'm interested in the 7mm prc that Hornady just released. I want to use it for longer range shooting, not hunting. Do you have an opinion on this caliber choice and do you have a recommendation for a rifle? I can't really find and off the shelf options.
They didn't have either of the main mil spotting scopes on their drop down (Leupold Mk 4 or Hensoldt 45/60) and seems dubious whether or not the magnet would even be strong enough to hold it on such a setup where the eyepiece is parallel to the ground instead of angled like your Vortex - especially in landscape, without the weight of the phone causing it shift over time (or even unstable shake). Also would be a little concerned about the "friction fit" of the eyepiece on the scope itself, especially in varying temperatures. Would prefer something that would have a set screw to tighten the circumference and really secure it. Really impressed with the "self centering" aspect though. Will keep eyes on it and hope they improve the system and support for more common scopes over time. Looks promising but not quite there yet.
I bought really good quality: Leopold 60x (85mm) and the Samsung S32 Ultra. Each has a sharp picture, but when I put them together with the 10x telephoto, it doesn't look as sharp as I know it should be. Does a polarizing lens help if placed in between the two?

You have scope aiming down range and now you'll need another tripod with the camera? too much hassle.
A camera is not part of the sharpshooter gear
Dude this Nikon P1000 is insane.
Sometimes the answer is so simple it's hard to grasp but that's is amazing!
Ray, thanks for your uploads, great information
That looks really good and simple. Will be picking one up.
Thanks Ray. Great information. I really appreciate it. Thank you.
Great video! Can't wait for more videos.
Sam thanks for doing this video.

Thank you for the review. Like you I have tried several methods that have ‘kinda’ worked. This looks great.

Thank you Ray 🙏🏼. I’ve been struggling to get something to work with my (Binos) Steiners . .
Thank You Sir! Cheers for Ollin!👍🇺🇲
Thank you sir for the savings. Will have to check it out. 👍
Great review thank you for the work on the discount code 😉
That's nice and so easy to use
Nice! This is what the phone skope should have been. Will be checking this out for sure!
Very good review.
Would love to see this for an iPad. Not so much for footage but for a nice, large screen to easily see my shots with a glance on the firing line.
I’ve been using the novagrade adapter on my mk4 for a while now and have no complaints. Best part is no proprietary mounts for different phones
Good stuff

I’ve had great luck with the Novagrade phone adapter, it’s not cheap but works with almost all phones once setup super fast to put phone in.
Way simpler than I expected.
Impressive. Good quality glass will obviously be critical.

Thank You Sir 👏👍
You could at a strip of foam tape so it fits the smaller eye piece snug.
That’s the product I suggested 6-7 videos ago. I use them for hunting.
Well, I really do appreciate it bearpaw! You were absolutely correct and I appreciate the suggestion. 👍🏼

More stuff to buy😊

Try building up diameter of eye piece with tape or some other medium to fit ollin adapter.
GetchaSUM 🔥🔥🔥
I've been using a dslr with a big ass lens good quality but very cumbersome.

I’ll bet you could 3d print an insert to take up for the space.
Does the eye piece adapter affect eye relief?
Which sig lrf do you have? Just got my sig kilo 10k and it gave me 4900 on a mountain face.
Where can I buy? You didn’t put A link or mention the product in description.
Just go to the Ollin website and buy direct from them. 👍🏼
Pity they are not shipping outside US and Canada
Price
Can you not take a photo while shooting video on an iphone?
