    I bought the system a year ago along with their weak lamp. Used it as directed, and the polish wasn't dry after the last cure. Since I wasn't sure of the ingredients and didn't want to develop a gel allergy if this is some type of gel, I promptly removed it and put the box up. I just decided to give it a try again with my own powerful lamp. Used according to the directions that came with my kit and the stuff still wasn't completely dry. I could dent and scrap away the polish. Really pissed as I had purchased a bunch of the polishes. Just watching this video, it seems that they are now recommending much longer curing times under the lamp for each layer. I love the remover, and the oils and hand lotion are decent. The nail polish system sucks. I started using the Dazzle Dry nail polish system in December and that is fantastic and works as advertised. Your manicure is completely dry within five minutes of applying the top coat. Not a gel or dip, no worries about developing those types of allergies and works as promised. I am very disappointed in Manucurist.

    I'm glad I'm not the only one who has problems with the Greenflash nail system. I have moderately long nails and do a lot of typing due to my job, so yes, my nails do take a bit of a knock. Even with my best prep techniques as a nails veteran of over 10 yrs, I can't get this brand to stay on my nails for more than 24 hours before it starts chipping or peels completely. I'm using a high powered lamp too. It just doesn't cut it. Hopefully they can improve the formula given time as £15 a bottle for one day's wear is pretty ridiculous IMO.

    I love this stuff. Regular nail polish chips within 24 hours on me every dang time. This stuff looks good for 7 days with maybe some tiny chips starting at that point but I’m usually ready for a new color then anyway. It removes so easily without ripping up my nails like gel does.

    hun most top coats require the dispersion layer after curing to be wiped off with alcohol. also cap the edges, if nails are too short try using a form. be sure when doing ur nail prep u are using a dehydrator and then a ph bond or acid free primer for better adhesion. best of luck.

      So Green flash specifically say not to wipe the top layer… I absolutely agree most others do so I was going to and then realised I wasn’t supposed to with this 🤣 thanks for the foam tip! X

    Thanks for the video, your honesty is appreciated. I've been thinking to buy Green Flash and then I stumbled upon this Take 2. I'm just wondering, could you put Green Flash base and colour coats and finish it with regular gel top coat? Will that last longer?

      @heatherkerenza  Před 2 měsíci

      Glad it was useful! So I did try that and I liked how it was much shinier than the green flash top coat but it still didn’t last as long as regular gel sadly x

    The lamp's wavelength etc should correspond with the polish formula. There's more about this on their website. You can't really judge from mix and match. It would be like putting the wrong fuel in my car and blaming the fuel. It's not the right approach.

      @heatherkerenza  Před 11 měsíci +1

      I would agree but I used their lamp the first time and it didn’t work then either…

    It dries even without any lamp...
    You only have to wait a few minutes longer than they write on their website.
    I used green flash too. One day my lamp didn't work anymore, but I applied it already. So I figured it out. I thought about buying a new lamp. The lamp is not cheap. They actually offer one slim lamp with 24W and a premium with 36W. But I think that it works even WITHOUT any lamp, like a normal nail polish.
    If you apply the layers thick, than you have to wait longer and its harder to remove. I think their missleading advertising and instruction how long to wait/dry it with a lamp is all about applying thin layers.
    I even watched a few other reviews/ads. If the testers talked longer about the colours/product, even without lamp, they gave the nail polish more time to dry, or they applied it really thin or cut the video 😅

      @heatherkerenza  Před 6 měsíci

      I’ve honestly tried it so many different ways, and every time it’s either not dried properly, probably when I applied it too thickly, or it chipped immediately, when I applied it really thinly…
      It also doesn’t have the same high shine look as normal gel which for me is the main thing I like from having my nails done.
      I love what this company is aiming for, I just don’t think they’ve quite got it right yet x
