The only product I'm missing is all of them.
I wanna like but the likes are too perfect 123
I think I have the gel nail polish! That's a start...
SAME😭😂
Don’t worry, its only about $400 worth of stuff then you can mess up your nails in a professional type way.
@@WeTheDylan no it's not?? It's be like $50usd tops
I HAVE THE Q-TIPS. what’s next?
😂😂😂🥲
Ok yall whining about the supplies and expenses: I spent about 100€ on the lamp, pads, cuticle pusher, files, base/top laquer, a few gel colours, brushes and even got some building liquid gel and nail extensions and if you follow the instructions she gave it will turn out great! And after a few weeks you have already "paid off" all that money you would spend in the salon and that stuff can last you YEARS! Definetly worth the investment!😉
Yes! ⬆️⬆️⬆️ I've invested around $100 on nail supplies and I've done at least $300 worth of nail art already!
I agree, getting into polishing my nails at home. :)
@@Heather-hv7me you go girl! I've became a nail artist since then and also do other people's nails on a regular basis. So if we talk about profit...❤
Exactly! Everyone just looks at the initial cost and never thinks about how long this stuff is gonna last you.
I just got a salon quality lamp, tonnes of gel polishes and other tools and supplies for £30 on a second hand website. Often salons will sell their old stock off for cheap prices. So much more affordable than going to the salon all the time xx
Her nail shape is perfect 😍
I wonder why
As a perfectionist, I am obsessed with your level of detail and excited to try a few new tools I’ve been missing!
I am seriously considering investing in all of these… I LOVE doing my nails, it’s therapeutic for me (until I’m almost done and I mess up a nail 🤦🏻♀️) anyways, I just want to learn to do my own gel nails, problem it’s I’m a newbie at this and I don’t know what products work or not
Her nails are so beautiful! I like the color
Amazing video , thankyou for teaching us alll very useful 😍👌🏻
This was so helpful thank you! You did an amazing job explaining each step clearly and coherently ❤️😊🙏🏼
I immediately liked and followed your page!! Love this video thank u
I loved this so relaxing
Your natural nails are so pretty 🤩 but I love 💕 the gel too though!!!!!!
Very helpful and detailed video. Thank you!
This was sooo easy to follow
I love this short video that gives you all the steps you need to do to have a neat nails. You don't need all the brushes and stuff, I have an electric manicure rotating tools and I use fine sandpaper. I literally have sheets of different sand paper that does all the trick. Just pick the right sharpness, fold it and file.
What I would like to know is how often can you take the gel polish off and use the LED/UV lamp, not to damage your skin and nails. Also, do you put any sunscreen product on your skin,
I do, when exposing my hands for couple of times under the lamp. I clean the nails but I spray all of my hands. I had a bad experience after fist use of the lamp, as I work hard and hands always in water, my skin was later even more dry. But looks nice if I use UV protection
I never even thought about sunscreen
You can get LED lamps now so no uv damage.
Ouu! Love this ! I’m gonna try bio seaweed. I tried a couple of Amazon brands and it keeps peeling. The salon I used to go to used bio seaweed as well so I’ll give it a try. Thanks for the video ☺️
Love this!
Very helpful she is so sweet!!!
Simple and sweet
She made that looks way easy lol 💕
Thank you!!
Could you please add all the things and where they can purchased from. Also great video 😃
This was incredibly useful
How do you keep your natural nails so beautiful?! Any tips?
god i love this channel!!
How do you get that nail shape? I love it
Thanks for showing a fairly easy way to do our own gel nail. Because of the work I did, I started doing my own back in the mid 1980s and they didn't constantly break off. Of course this was when they did the acrylics. You make them so beautiful!
Only one question; how do tou keep the nail tip from coming off your natural nail? Thanks for your expertise!
Please give some tips on how to make them last longer! Mine only last roughly a week (usually less!) because they start lifting or chipping really easily. Especially after taking a shower or washing dishes.
I love it!! 🤩
how her nails already looked perfect at step 1 :D
I feel like the hardest part for me is taking the gel nail polish off afterwards
Omg!!! My name is also Diana
How long do these nails last? I have a light but the product I use peel up so i'll try this brand of nail laquer but does the light cause the peeling too? Like if it isn't strong enough?
When curing the polish after do you ever wipe it down with alcohol wipes or can I cure the polish and do another layer?
Sooo....this is a Bio Seaweed Gel commercial??
At least Cristine/Simply Nailogical has a premium product to sell and has also used many other products.
@@recoil53 but this isn’t her
Looks nice. I like the way you shaped them too. I normally go for a square shape however I often get corner splits do you think the shape you had could reduce that?
This doesn't happen to me but I think this is a protein defficiency in nails, try nail strengthener!! sounds like your nails are thin
Rounded nails do tend to snag on things less. If you like squares, you could try squoval-a square with rounded oval corners.
This is so so awesome! I kind of self taught myself to do gel but this elevates my knowledge so I can do it right! Thanks so much beautiful job! 💕
Watch Simply Nailogical vids too. She has great tips not listed here.
I'm going to the salon to get my nails done.. this is a lot 🤣
Clicked on this because I thought it would be simple brushing techniques and specific brands but no, it’s basically “have a full set of professional nail salon at home and you’re set”
It literally says it's for a $50 manicure but done at home. And it's really not complicated.
Lillian Smith yeah it’s not complicated at all to do your nails, but almost no one has this stuff? That’s all I was saying.
All you need is top coat, base coat, nail polish remover and a nail polish colour and some qtips
@@audrey0707 I know how to paint my nails lmao, it’s just, the thumbnail and title were misleading.
@@madcoolcumber it's not misleading, people who do gel polishes at home have the stuff, products similar to what she used can be found on Amazon for inexpensive prices ranging from 6 to $12. All you need is a small 24 watt lamp a UV gel base coat and top coat, UV gel color, probably alcohol and the cuticle remover. And the title said $50 gel nails, if you pay attention when you go to the nail salon you'll know that she simplified it.
Hi I love this channel.
How do you take it off? :)
I did every step of this video & after a day they lifted off. I seen other videos & noticed what I was missing.
This was easy
Hi love your nails ( big fan )
How do you fill them? What’s the process after you need a fill?
Thank you. You have beautiful nails and loved the video
That was my question too.
??
Do you have to use a cuticle oil at the end? Can you use like coconut oil or Jehovah oil or any other carrier oil?
How long do these last?' thanks
If you’re broke like me, I found a $2 led lamp on aliexpress and bought ano wipe gel top coat. So I paint on regular base coat and two coats of colour before I go to bed, then by morning everything is completely dry, then I wash my hands and paint on the gel top coat and cure it
But is the nail lamp hood quality?
@@eleni8826 did you mean good? If so then yes! The lamp is smaller than my hand but just 60 seconds and gel polish is fully cured. It's hands down my favourite purchase of last year and it's made life so much easier, since I don't have to wait hours for my top coat to dry anymore and the lamp is so tiny and portable
@@nanaesio.nyarkoh2858 ok! Thanks! I was just curious because usually small nail lamps do not cure polish that well but anyways thanks for replying😊

Hi do u know any other good brand of gel polish cause here in Europe is not possible to buy this one
I’ve heard of manucurist based in France. I haven’t tried it myself but I might later. It’s pricey but seems like a good polish.
Cristine doesn’t want us to use a metal tool on our cuticles, she uses an orange stick instead!!
Well Bio Seaweed Gel doesn't have an orange stick.
A lot of Cristine's techniques are actually flawed. Using a metal tool on your cuticles isn't dangerous. Cuticle is literally just the dead skin on the surface of the nail. Don't use a metal tool on your EPONYCHIUM, which is the live skin around your nail.
And no files other than glass ones. 😂🤣
@@lenniegray3086 she actually does use a metal cuticle pusher (and is coming out with her own too), she recommends not using a metal tool on your nail while removing nail polish (peel off or otherwise) because that hacks at your nails.
She's not a real nail tech tho
how do you remove the gel polish that easily with acetone?
That was my question because gel doesn't rub off easily like that.
สวัสดีครับมาเป็นกำลังใจให้นะครับ
Y’all can order all this stuff cheaper on Amazon. A UV/LED lamp is less than $20. Babe Nail has the best gel polish, in my opinion for less than $10.
How long do u cure it forrr ?!?
How long does a regular gel mani take?
Over an hour if its fast, if there is some kind of special addition or nail art then between two to three hours. At least in my experience of doing them myself 😅
How do you prevent your nails from getting yellow
Use a base coat before you put the color.
❤❤
Hello dear, Is it necessary to use base coat?
From my understanding yes ,because it helps to adhesive the polish on top of the nail and to connect the polishes
how to do ur own gel manicure at home while alll the stores are closed u will just need evrything u dont have
I've been buying gel polishes and accessories for years from Amazon. Its so much more economical to buy the polishes and do it at home. If you want to, and the more you practice the better you get at it.
Yeah, e-commerce has grown even faster with the lockdown.
You get better prices if you can wait and a greater variety/quality if you really look.
online shopping was intevented a while ago
Watching this as I paint my nails haha
Loveeee 💋💋💋
Wait, so you just use nail polish to remove gel?
Just realised how much manicures mess with the nature of the nails.
You know she's from the OC when she says "ima"
Lmao I love it
"The gel machine. " 😂 yes I will start calling it that too.. Sounds cooler.
Take a shot every time she says cuticle
Exactly😂
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
This video is brought to you by Bio Seaweed Gel, lol
😮
I have the at home system, someone sent it to me, the electric buffer, all the way down to the LED light dryer system! I never knew what to do because the nail techs in my area don't speak English (or pretend not to) so Everytime I asked questions, she would just smile and laugh. I'll save lots of $$.
First and foremost requirement is long nails.
Not really but ok
not really. and honestly, gel on short nails is very cute.
Don't be a negative Nelly!
Funny how they don't list the price of each product. No way can you do this with $50 starting from scratch. And if you don't have experience doing your own nails, they will not turn out as polished as hers, don't fool yourself.
I think you can if you buy your products from somewhere like aliexpress. They have pretty decent quality nail tools and products for cheap
You can. You just need to practice, go to places like amazon where they have the kit thingies
if you don’t practice you won’t get better
You can buy gel kits in Amazon for under $30. A basic manicures clipper set for like $10 which comes with a cuticle pusher and nippers, plus a bunch of other stuff normally. And a gel lamp for $12. It's possible if you shop around. Start cheap and then upgrade as you run out of things.
I think by “give yourself a $50 gel mani at home” they meant give yourself a manicure that’s normally $50 for a one time manicure to yourself, not that the tools cost that much! It’s definitely not cheaper up front but long run it saves you money cause you don’t buy the tools very often. :)
I have no cuticles 😅
Almost two years later. So, people, do you still paint your nails at home or go to salon now?? :))
Now if only my nails would grow that long. I got brittle nails sis. 😭
Gel can help to get them long 😃
@@dana-sophie second. The only problem I have had with a gel manicure is I didn't plan for how quickly my nails would grow bc they weren't breaking so I should have set aside the money for professional touch-up sooner and ended up removing it bc I had to report for duty (Army reserve) and couldn't have coloured or longer nails! But I would have gotten a clear/natural replacement bc it keeps them so hard and durableand working on 915a5(semi trucks w up armour capability) and various types of HMMWVs(Humvees) my fingertips get squished frequently bc my nails are also very brittle and bend easily under pressure.
It's like armour for your finger tips!
I wish my nails didn't break so much so that I'd have naturally long nails like that
doing gel nails at home is NOT expensive. there are so many quality CHEAP products out there, even on aliexpress and other sites like that. and it's all soooo worth it. beautiful nails for years. i know y'all can stop ordering McDonalds for a week and save some money lol
😂😂😂👏exactly
I was done with this video by 0:38
Step 1: get my nails long enough
But liw key who has that stuff at their house
Step one: be nail tech with access to salon quality equipment. Step two: TA-DAH!
That was not salon quality equipment. Lol you can get a cheap kit from Amazon and watch tutorials from other CZcamsrs.
Sounds like an ad to me .
Omg Most of the producs i never heard before. And i m a girl. Does Every girl have those pruducts?
Step 1: Have perfect nails
💅💅💅💅💅💅💅💅
👍👍👍👍💅💅💅💅
💅💅💅💅💅💅💅💅💅💅
Problem is dominant hand
$50 manicure turning into over $100 in supplies
It's $50 if you buy a kit. Less depending on the brand
Well of course you'll have to buy the supplies the first time 🙄 but you obviously don't buy them every time
Why don’t nail techs ever put a base coat ?????
You didn’t do your thumbs up finger
Cuticle nippers? Simply would never😵😵
Do you mean simply nailogical because didn't she use cuticle nippers on her boyfriend Ben once when they were in really bad shape. Seems to me she said they were all right to use as long as you are careful. I don't remember her ever saying never nip the cuticles. 🤔🤔🤔
Why would I spend $50 at home when I can get them done at the Salon for $50 😂
Because you can get over a dozen sets for that $50. It's an investment.
As a dude that's literally about to go chainsaw things, it's interesting to see how much work some women put into looking awesome; this is excellent.
This does not count for the ones that think that "not trying" is a "look."
