Is this video about cars or a lovely pair of legs , i lost all train of thought after 10 seconds, not that im complaining, 😁👍
im suprised this is the 2nd top comment,(in a good way)
i really love pale blonde or redhead chics are my fave
I can’t concentrate there’s too much leg in the shot 😂
There can never be too much leg 🦵 in the channel
Sad little man
Me thinks you were very happy to be distracted. 😊
I came
But nice legs
Get another L322, preferably a 4.4tdv8. I've only had my 2012 4.4TDV8 Westminster for two months, and absolutely love it 👌
I would love to see the luxury camper van in Scotland on the channel. Glen Coe, by the way, is incredible - very atmospheric. On your future car plans I sense you are a Range Rover fan - I know a few and they always seems to need a Range Rover in their life so you should get one (along with the 911 of course!)
Another enjoyable video and looking good Lucy. Have you ever tried the Volvo XC60 Inscription Pro. Has all the bells and whistles including massage seats, steering assist, adaptive cruise, etc. They are quite pokey, have air suspension and are a good ride without being too big.
Buy the L322, which will be useful if you are moving house. Then, when you have the double garage, get the Porsche.🙂
Hiya Lucy love your vids and content keep up the good work
Lucy, I really am enjoying this VOLG format. What torture not to be able rev the M4 and burble of the excellent exhaust. GO FOD THE 911/996 PORSCHE. If you don't, when you only have the one kid, you'll regret it. Buy the one PORSCHE so you can get the best spec you can afford
Hi Lucy. Great video. Just subscribed. Love the way you park at the end of the car park at the supermarket. Me too. 👍. .
Forget the L322, it will spend the majority of the time in the garage being fixed, so I would buy the Porsche
When you go to Ullapool go to the Seafood Shack for lunch, and if further north, go to Kylesku Hotel, stunning food in a stunning location. Range River is wasted on the roads up here, buy the 996, drive it hard and scream
Hey Lucy, by far the best video so far! Loving the vibe in the Torque Cafe and enjoyed seeing a nice Coffee and a good Bap - could be good to know about Veggie options..
Always love a good pun and innuendo!
In terms of cars, Volvo XC90 I think they did a Yamaha V8 Petrol.. Practical and Performance..
Ariel Atom would be a polar opposite to the Volvo..
How about a Mercedes AMG G-Wagon Absolute BEAST!!! (Brabus Rocket 900 G63 I think is a twin turbo 5.5 petrol replacing the less powerful 6.3)
Fourth one is VanLife "Dreamer"
Sorry.. Number 5... Mercedes SLS AMG 6.3 (Autobahn recommended!!!)
Should give you guys something to think about.
Enjoy the long weekend! 🤗
As already said on previous occasions, go for the Cayenne GTS, best of both worlds and I guarantee you won't be disappointed.
She can't afford one.
I just came across your channel and I ❤ it, an English rose driving awesome cars sub added, I am looking forward to seeing more of your channel 😊x
Have you considered a Mk.1 Austin Metro? If they are hard to get my Skoda Citigo is the same dimensions. I teach customers to drive in it and they seem to like it.
I would personally go for a good condition 996 C4S, manual, preferably. It’s a long term goal for me 😊 but I’m also stuck with an incredibly expensive Q3 Sportback lease and a 3 series touring 🙃
Hi we bought a 996 c4 gen2 cabriolet in Jan this year, it’s a fantastic car to drive either on country roads or motorway. But have now discovered Porsche tax, all parts are ridiculously expensive even non oem. We bought the cheapest for sale in the country but I would recommend that unless you can do any work required yourselves to buy the best you can afford. Also all 996 will suffer bore score eventually so an inspection is essential unless it’s had liners fitted recently or a replacement engine.BTW the 997 also suffers bore score issues the same as the 996 but the early gen 1 996 3.4 are reputedly less prone to the issue than the 3.6.
Tesla Model X or Y Performance? Sounds like you need a larger car for the family and something different you can try out and test getting muddy.
Why not look at the l405 again. With the money your talking about, you can get a good l405 sdv8 4.4.
Get rid of the lotus, get rid of the 3 series. Pick up an L322 as they are utterly fantastic and then keep an eye out for the perfect 911 and grab it once you find it. I've owned both and they're both the best at the respective jobs they do. I've still got a Porsche but the L322 has recently been replaced with a Tesla model Y Performance due to the L322 starting to show its age. Another one to consider if you're looking at 996s is the 986 Boxster S. Huge bang for buck value currently.
Hi Lucy could you do a video on the new defender 90 loved your outfit.have a good holiday.robert.
Definitely interested in van life 👍
Lucy great video
Yea
A cayenne, no matter how good it is, will never give you the same sensations as a 911, I really think you need to scratch that itch for a year and then re-group.
You should try the diner. It's amazing
I know it's not on your list but @DadCars just released a video on the C7 Audi RS6 which would be a great middle ground car.
I suspect it has more useable space than a Range Rover and unless you intend to go off roading its AWD will be far superior to to that of a Range Rover too. Great driving dynamics and not a boring car.
If it were me I would get one of these to replace the Range Rover so you have a practical but not boring car and then really take your time to find the 996 that is right for you. The Audi will likely depreciate less than a Range Rover and when you find the perfect 996 for you, you can then decide whether to keep both or not without losing a fortune.
There is a lot of variation and different options on 911s and luckily they sold enough that you can take your time to find the one that is perfect for you both in terms of specifications and service history. As a 996 series 1 owner there is a huge difference between my car and most other 996's I have seen.
Mine has full leather (most 996's have a surprising amount of plastic) and carbon fibre which combined with Bose speakers makes it a very pleasant place to be. Plus it came with a range of performance options which I would likely have paid for post purchase anyway so it was like the car had been specified perfectly for me. However, it took time to find the one that was right and TBH I found I needed to drive a number of them to get over the Porsche buzz and to be able to assess them rationally.
996
have a look at flat six classics they really know their stuff
L322 ❤
Torque Moto is a very cool spot, we were just there on the bank holiday weekend.
Lucy what about a Toyota Land Cruser? Or Lexus LX450
My 2 polar opposite cars Lucy would be Aston Martin DB7 and a Volvo v70
I'm Team George; get both. When it comes to cars, I always think if it's financially viable, then do it especially something like a 911 because "one day" might never happen.
As for the L322, Lucy so often talks about her incurable Range Rover bug.
And none of the cars would do the same task; the 330 is a the unglamorous daily chug-about, the L322 does classy Range Rover things, the Lotus is the no-children-day-out/classic car ands a 911 would be the family sports car and is a 911.
However if it was a firm only one, then get the 911, because even the unloved 996 (I've always liked them but not to everyone's tastes) are getting expensive and you never know when or even if the opportunity might come again. There will always be a Range Rover-shaped spot on Lucy's driveway so there will be a Range Rover again at some point.
3 series touring and 911
Yep the leg shot worked, then it’s the cars as well.. least I’m honest..😂
I would love to see some content in Scotland with the campervan ❤
I didn't get distracted by anything other than £3.50 for a sausage roll 🤥
For me 2 polar opposites I would like is either a Nissan GTR, or the new weird and wonderful Land Rover Defender ❤
Discovery 4 with the sdv6 3 litre with the 8 speed gearbox loads of room and really nice to drive my son had a l332 and thinks Discovery is a nicer drive 😎🏴 if your near Stirling you can try mine out
Buy the L322, the best of the RR's
L322
L322
L322
😁
2 opposite cars? How about a rolls Royce/s class and a classic defender/wrangler
For something a little out of the ordinary, Alfa Romeo Stelvio.
Inverewe Gardens , near Ullapool !
L322 Autobiography trim
I've bought cars for what I think my future self might need, but they always end up being wrong. I suggest you don't make the same mistake and buy a car that fits for the now, even if it's only for a year. Unless you have a bun in the oven, go for the 911. I love my L322 but I was in a position where I NEEDED it. If I didn't need it something else like a 911 would have been an excellent choice.
Ive owned both L322 & 996. It’s accepted that the Range Rover has reliability issues and its temporary insanity to buy one. That being said, there is nothing like them and if you know you know, which you do.
Lots of anxiety around the 911 as well. You mentioned IMS and bore scoring which are the main issues but this can be mitigated through model/year/engine.
The 3.4 early 996s had a dual row IMS with a lower failure rate and bore scoring is less likely in the 3.4 engines due to the material used to sleeve the bore liners in the 3.6 engine that appeared in the late 996s but more commonly in the 997. If either engine has had the wet IMS upgrade consider yourself safe.
Choice of body styles are either wide bodied (based on the turbo car) C4s 4-wheel drive or narrow bodied C2 rear wheel drive. I opted for a manual C2 as for me, the type of car they are, I felt this was the purest form.
Service history is your friend in either car.
Considering your combined budget, which may need to be pushed slightly but another option, have you considered the 996 turbo? this is a completely different engine (Mezger) and doesn’t suffer with either of the problems the non turbo cars and will apricate more quickly over a shorter period should you move it on sooner.
Good luck and love the channel.
Rolls Royce Cullinan & Ariel Atom.
What about a Porsche macan or cayenne. What the power of a sports car/ off road like Range Rover
911 and Model Y
Porsche. Your son would also approve!
I couldn’t concentrate at the start if I’m honest 😂
Do a Porsche Macan Lucy 😊👍😎🤞
L322 every day 👍👍👍
I I’m new to the channel I think you should get the Porsche 911 please 😊 nice leg 🦵
Cayenne GTS over the Rover; Sports car in a SUV.😀
I would pick a Tesla Model 3 performance model for you. That would be a hoot to drive. With all the cameras on the car, you could report people that scratch your car to the local police. Oh my god. Don’t buy a 996. I owned one and it was the biggest money pit. Always in the shop. If you want a Porsche buy a new one.
Hands down the 911. The only reason you get a 4x4 is if you need the ground clearance and off-roading ability
Range rover according to some has reliability issues, (people I have known personally owned them) so I would steer clear. Porsche have a well known reputation for reliability both on and off road and frankly represent in my view a good investment, which at some point should be something to consider. Too many of us have just thrown money away on vehicles losing cash hand over fist and now in later life wondering where it all went...
%20 bmw
%80 a leg
Porsche Cayenne would be a great option if you want something both practical and sporty to drive.
Yes this is an option but I worry I am trying to do both and ending up with a car that is a bit sporty and a bit off-roady (not a word) but not fully either if that makes sense?!
Please disregard the comments about legs by pathetic middle aged men.
I am looking for a 996, ideally C4S as well. (That's how I found your channel, which I promptly subscribed to!)
Could extend to a 997.2 but i just love the "charm" and nostalgia of a 996! In my mind they have a much higher material value than a new one, but realise in reality thats not accurate!
Good luck, although with above in mind, if I see any links to good cars, I'll be sure to not forward them to you two! 😉😁
The 3.6 in the C4S doesn’t tend to have the bore scoring issue, was the 3.4 that in the Carreras that had that issue. It won’t lose any money if you maintain it properly and they are going up in value. Good budget would 25k for a nice manual.
Umm, nope, it's the 3.4's that don't suffer from the bore scoring and the 3.6's that do.
L405!!!😂
Hi Lucy you are doing a great job and having fun making some brilliant videos superstar Ali Walsall west midlands england junction 10 m6 Walsall churckery up the walsall
Buy the Porsche before the prices go up and unattainable
M4 flat 6! nah
Easy, you‘ve had a Range Rover, time to live with a Porsche. It’s not forever anyway.
More legs Lucy ! xx
Porsche Cayenne if you can afford the fuel lol!
I love Ducati... but common sense has to kick in... spending £50k on a bike that is an unreliable piece of junk. They always have been and no amount of loving them will save my money from the toilet. So I stay strong and point blank refuse to buy one.... instead I got a modified Honda and invested my spare money on a plot of land.
You sound far more sensible than me...
❤
Why not get a Porsche Panamera or Cayenne? So you would have a Porsche family car.
Just go 997 far better car
Hi Lucy stop moaning 😭 keep it up you are doing a great job and having fun making some brilliant videos superstar Ali Walsall west midlands england junction 10 m6 Walsall churckery
My friend recently lost £13000 on his Land Rover in 9 months 🤦🏻
Ouch! What model/year was it?
It was a Evoque 2019
@@julianhawkins9423 Evoque doesn't count, that's a poser RR
996 2000-2005 have IMS Bearing probz. Don't buy one that hasn't had it done.
Poor Schaa das iz zee correct Chermunn pronunciation frauline.
Yes will definitely be looking for one with this done - better to be safe that sorry!
Why don't you answer me, I love you from Morocco❤❤
Porsche 911 or Range Rover? Don’t know how you even get the 2 cars in one sentence. But. You obviously actually want a Porsche Macan. Range Rovers are chav cars😂
what a woman!
First world problems 🤔🤔 But hey sexy sells??🙄🙄
Them legs, how tall are u
Why would Range Rover be anyone's dream car??? Outstandingly dreadful reliability. With owners recording about 40% failure rate within 2 years. The worst insurance of just about any vehicle and a dealer network who just don't give a dam! JLR.... is the sow's ear dressed as a silk purse.
But I loveeee them 😂 Can't explain it!
Wouldn't want to be seen in one, gives off the wrong impression.
You either get it or you don’t
@@mattwright3768why would you care what other people think?
996 is frowned upon by Porsche 911 purists, due to the lights.
As a ex mechanic of 29 years, and now beef farmer,,women are rubbish on cars,,they cant park either,,,men do men things,,Just my opinion..
go for 911 the best sports car of all time its practical reliable and it kills lambos and Ferraris.Nothing can be more perfect than that
How about a Ford Ranger Raptor? 🛻🤔🤔🤔
