I saw Jerry Lee Lewis in person! He was a little more mature! Lol! Didn't know what to expect...He walked out on stage, put his pipe in the ash tray and proceeded to play his ass off! "The killer", killed it! The piano playing and the voice was stellar! One of the most amazing concerts I've ever been to and I've been to a lot! A definite highlight of my life! Thanks Jerry Lee, for a night I still haven't forgotten and never will! ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤

Jerry Lee played the Cambridge Folk Festival years ago. At one point he was playing with his foot. Didn't hit a duffnote even with his shoes on. Respect!
I don't think many people really understand how difficult is to make music jive between the chords and the musician get the rhythm going... this set came out rhythmic perfect.... darn they are good.

My frievds went to Jerry’s ranch outside of Nashville. He wasn’t there. They went on a tour. Then low and behold he came home. He’d so old his daughter brought him in. It made me sad. But he was still great to talk to. He finally went to his room. His son apologized. They told its ok. We weren’t expecting him at all.
He signed a pic for them. They were doing videos so he Asked him if he could video him. He said yeah but I’m old and I don’t look too good. . Lol

Man, he's still got it. I was just 15 when this recording first aired and it was a smash hit. It still excites me at the ripe old age of 80. Jerry, Fats Domino, Little Richard, Bill Haley, Chuck Berry, Bobby Darin. We were spoiled back then.
Just like when Bruce played with Chuck, when he looks at JLL, that's true love and admiration you can see.

I first saw JLL in Farmington, NM in the 50's during his prime. He was and still is the best. Have always been a fan since, and have many of his recordings.
