CKMCardesign good morning the adapter you have in the video looks slightly different to one you have linked. The one in the video looks to be a double connection. Can you please advise. Also I have a207 2014 ntg 4.7 will the adapter be the same

Chris.. this video looks like you have the NTG 4.0 command unit... I have the 2014 e350 convertible with the NTG 4.5 command unit.. I believe the wiring is just a tab different. Do I still need the converter at 3:39. Also , these models you would not need to plug in/out for the canibus 4:54 . or would I?

No there isn't without using so many different convert boxes and even then you'd run into issues with connectivity. I looked into this because I was curious about this as well.

Just installed mines !!!! I have 4glte 64gb .. the hardest part was hiding the cables making sure it fits !!! Spent at least 2hrs ... I notice that the Benz boot up logo is hidden in some file but when I go to boot logo is factory settings ,it isn’t there ? ????? Can some one help me please !!!

Could I use a 2013 W212 E63 gauge cluster on my C207 Coupe? Obviously physically it fits right in but besides programming is there anything special required?
Its the same cluster in W207 and W212.
CKMCardesign awesome!! How about a 2013 W212 with the V8 Biturbo and not the 6.2 V8? Will the biturbo cluster work on C207 without programming? (Aside from mileage)
@@TRUdetailing Yes. But you might lose some menu items if you dont code to your specs. Have on sale on site.
I have the same w207 cabrio.. and i have also bought the navigation android touchscreen. But the cables from the Touchscreen that are connected to the Comand still have to be pushed into the cladding. that is really hard ..
why don't you show in this video, how you can get the comand with the wiring pushed in.. that was so difficult..
One cable of the touchscreen has to be soldered.
Nothing in out kit needs to be soldered.
Hi Chris / CKM Car Design. Thank you for the detailed video, I noticed at 8:08 you used an adaptor / splitter for the GPS signal, that provides a connection to the Android head unit as well as the original Benz unit. My car like the one in your video has the double Fakra plug. If I was to buy a Android head unit, would my original Benz GPS system lose accuracy by only using a single antenna, or is there a second cable that maintains the double signal from the double Fakra plug to the Fakra double socket of the Benz GPS?
GPS dont have double. Then you look at wrong conector.

@@Deadmeat069 One is for Android GPS and the other is for the old comand gps.
Hello! I have the same doubt. In the original gps fakra connector, there are two cables. One of them is connected to your splitter, the other one loses its connection, will we lose anything because of that? Thanks in advance

how did u mange to put back the head unit in place, mine does not go in completly - it gets stuck like 2-3cm before the sliding brackets
Takes a lot of fiddeling.

Hello! My W212 (2014) Facelift compatible with this unit? I do not know NTG version... I find lot of Android unit on market but every seller mark just NTGx.x or NTG4.5. If unit fit and compatible with 4.5, compatible with 4.7 also? Please help me! Do you know it?

Screen looks cheap? Totaly disagree.
I think it only looks cheap when the screen is off. The screen technology is relatively cheap looking when off because you can see a greyish tone on the screen. This is unlike smartphone displays where the screen is black when off. Otherwise, it’s still a massive improvement over the stock outdated system.
