And it was epic!
A day that started with me drinking a beer at 8am, a challenge to only eat spicy food all day, and as you can expect, it was totally insane!
@BecomingFilipino couldn't handle it!
Actually, the food dishes were OK. The chili was well integrated into the dishes and you tasted the full flavour profile.
But concentrated chili? Chili ice cream, chili milkshakes... they were less of a good idea!
Ibalon Craft Brew make sili beer and some others in Naga City - and I highly recommend them! Dexter is an awesome brewer!

Every lunch, my father always have a piece of chili and salt as a "dip" on a saucer like a side dish, and he bites the chili like it's nothing. I was in awe whenever I watch him eat chilis like that when I was a child. He's a bicolano.
As for me, once I start eating spicy food, I can't help but continue eating until my plate is completely clean, but man, my tongue burns and my face and back are sweating too much but I never learn my lesson.
What a day! Hahaha
One more video with Kulas, then September will be from this trip back to the south 🙂

I know you're a fanatic of spicy foods.. You know what bicolano folks don't mess with them with regards to spicy foods they can compete not in the 🇵🇭 only but globally.. It can surpass the spiciness that i saw your vlog previously of your carolina reaper ally burger from obrero but one thing you miss is the home of oragon.. Iriga City.. Maybe nexttime you plan for your own trip explore again the spiciness spirit of bicol region is very interesting.. I know this journey with your very gay aura sidekick canadian becoming filipino is just like a road trip with a limited vlogs of yours to feature.. I’ve lived in Naga when our house in Buhi got destroyed by the typhoon as a child. I miss a lot of the Bicol food I grew up but my stomach can’t handle too spicy or else bathroom time aching . Thanks for sharing Naga I will return to visit some of my cousins that still live in Naga.

I agree, I luv his animation!😂He is so expressive in his unique personhood but it doesn’t seem affected or put on at all. Luv the dining with 2 spoons😆but still with proper table manners! Nice, tidy chewing. I appreciate that. Lastly, I agree that Chili has varied flavors which it adds to dishes, not just heat/spicy but flavor. Many don’t seem to realize that or at least rarely mentioned.

KD, how can you become King Chili if you don't eat chilis for 3 months? You have to start your training regimen right away. Loved Therine telling Kulas to man up and join you in your all-day chili challenge. That was almost as funny as the "disabled toilet" 2:21 on the Fast Cat.🤣 My first thought was that the toilet had been disabled, not that it was for the disabled. Either way, it was very daot (especially with the hatch that required having to step up and over to get in).
