When you think about it, he's done that his whole career. I remember when he and Culture Club hit the states. We were like WTF? That voice coming out of that face etc LOL it was mind blowing :)

Dressing them in white and black was perfect. Angel against devil.
Rather--- light vs heavy?
So many contrasts could be thought of with the contrast.
The white, diaphanous, billowing outfit of an angelic voice in opera vs the daregare black, leather of high voltage, full throated, rock!
Classic, traditional costuming, on the mark!
Can you imagine if it was reversed? Don't think it would have worked visually, it might have totally messed it up. (Or would it have added some edge?)
Virginia, please don't feel disheartened. You are a truly dynamic and rocksy singer. It takes a lot of confidence, and assurance in yourself to be on a show like this. You nailed it from your first note. This is not an ending, but a brand new beginning.
I wish we had a chance to hear original music from VirginiaâŠI think it could have been a whole different thing.
The pairing of opera & rock was genius. Their voices meshed so beautifully & each was a powerhouse vocalist in their own right!The performance was off the chain; had me vibing with each note, like I was on stage. Wonderful job!

She was one of my favourites contestants in the 9th Season of The Voice Australia. I didn't watch her backstory because I'm not Australian and this video made me know better Virginia, the Black Rock Star in that sky full of stars that was the last Season of The Voice Australia.
