Maybe make a part 2, giving us 5 levels of polyrhythms, including basic, advanced, 3/4/5 polyrhythms (ex. 2:3:5, 3:5:7, 5:6:8, etc.) and alternating polyrhythms. Quite the advanced study, me ‘old chap!

Ummmm, how about just downloading the the video and playing it on your own player at whichever speed you want to proceed? Plus you get to edit out his annoying brit-schtick :)

Great stuff, just became aware of your new channel. Back in the 90's, when I was playing metal almost exclusively, I took pride in being able to play Master of Puppets using mostly down strokes. That intro was brutal! Of course there were sections where I had to alternate.
I will actually be signing up for a paid patreon soon. I've had some issues with some of the techniques you've shown here and it's just simple and makes sense which has been a big issue when learning. Hats off Sir Beanley.
Love your channel dude! Recently got back into guitar and finding your content has been awesome. Wondering if your patreon is structured progressively for beginners? 🤘🏼
its been about a month since i started practicing this every day but i went from being able to get to triplets and sixthteen notes to the whole thing and having a much bigger ego this will always be a part of my practice routine
Hello to you my good Sir, I want to let you know that this outrageously neat video helped me on 2 purposes. It will help my terrible rythm and it brilliantly helped me to put to sleep my 2 month old son. I tip my hat to you Mr Beanley Hallsworth
I have practiced this for at least two months, and now I can play the whole video!! When I seen this I couldn't even play the Dotted Notes Lol, but this Workout really functions!!! Bradley you're the best
I was a little surprised that you didn't work in the main riff to "She-Wolf" at all, I've always felt that's a very underrated Megadeth riff that can be a good low-level workout 😁
tried my best to play along with my bass (i play fingers)... only part i couldnt handle was the 30 second notes. jeebus. great video, rly fun little exercise.
Hey Bradley, just wondering, in your school thingo, do you help students work on specific things? My picking game is ass and a major disadvantage for my playing but I don't know where to begin with correcting it? Is that something you offer? Cheers m8
Quick technical question: when you downpick, do you always go across the E string and stop on the next string, or you kind of bounce off of it returning to the beginning position?
i got to level 9, and I don't even primarily play with a pick. It's like the rhythm trainer app on my phone, but I'm actually playing guitar to it haha

Made it to 7 before just falling completely apart. Thank you for this!
Not too shabby, well done!
Obliged! I attribute it to having such a constant flow of inspiration from wonderful musicians such as yourself!@@beanleyhallsworth

@@darkcarnival5207 I think you’re on the wrong channel.
I love how he picks with his pinky lifted up as if drinking a fine cup of tea. A true Brit gentleman.
This video made me pick up that habit
He's muting the strings
This is an excellent video. Pleeeease, more content like this. I can't wait to go home to try this.
Got it!
Level 99: Become a riff yourself, transcend through time and space
*smokes doom metal once*
Vektor riff starts playing
Level 100: become ALL riffs.
How far did you guys get before your hand fell off??

i missed most of that because i had to go yell at the dog to make me a sandwich. what are those hieroglyphics at the top of the screen ?
А можно добавить ещё уровней между 5 и 6?

will see how much I can improve in a couple weeks trying this
so how its been?
Goes from Classic Metallica to Fear Factory to Meshuggah really fast. As a bassist I really like this and I will 100% try it! Thank you !

Thanks so much Bradley!!! You rock dude!! :DD

Thank you. Your videos have really helped so much. Good day old chap
Who would have thought playing zeros would be so fun? love that!
Woah!
I recognize so much songs in this exercise.
Thank you ;)
Had to do the first half or so at music classes. Great compilation!
Really good exercise, will definately try it out. It will go in handy for me to study different musical notes aswell 🤘🏼
i'm going to break down each section to form a few months schedule for sure at least!
@@grgwashnton23 sounds good man, tried it out today and it really is a nice exercise 🤘🏼
I love this, thank you so much! Level 5 and improving.
This is perfect, thank you!
This is a bithc of an exercise, tremendous! Always in my routine from now on.
Rhythm vids are fun and kind of remind me of when I was in marching band in high school
Gonna be using this as a right hand warmup.
Dude this helped me a lot.

Good lesson. Gonna do it at least for fun:). Next one please with mixing it up with power chords or other notes
This was tough. Great exercise
Thanks mate!

I’ve made it to level 7 after trying a few times. I’ve actually improved a lot thanks
Love this guy
My rhythm playing DOES suck! This is exactly what I needed. Thanks Lord Beanley! (Although 'Down with the class system' ✊)
Basically the most easy Fear Factory riff to the most technical Fear Factory riff
I love it. New subscriber here
Great, thanks
Finally. Tabs I can play. 🙏🏻
finally some breakdown content related
That’s awesome
Cool development on that post it note rhythm trend. A decent page of chug beats, sure.
advanced gallops, half-way thru,.....took me 3 times until muscle memory took oveR. great exercise brother, was usuaL. peacE...
The new Veil of Maya breakdown sounds good.
I think this is my new favourite song
made it to level 6 before i started floundering i think that counts as a win 😁 definitely will be returning to practice this
This is the good stuff
ooo this is a great exercise! 32nds are my weakness rn 😂. along with 16th triplets/tuplets.
That was sweet.
damn you this is worthwhile
Watching this at double speed is pretty fun.

”DARKNESS….”
I got to advanced gallops then things fell apart. Time for that 0.75x to get it down! Thanks for the great exercises.
Very nice
I’m confident that I could play through all ten levels but my eyes could never keep up with the tabs
You just scored a new Patreon student 🤘🏻
This is cool. Also, I didn't knew I can do sight reading 😂
I love how I started headbanging
This goes hard 😩
Going from Metallica to Fear Factory really quick
As a noob, this helps me learn to read tabs
Things started to unravel at level six but I think I can get back on track.
Normal people: what a cool warm up!
Modern metal: what a cool song!
And once you complete this, time to do it all with only downstrokes.
You made a Meshugga Song as an exercise to practice.
Highly recommend also playing this with your fingers on bass.
Failed at level 6 this is pretty fun
Wanna see it with some 1s and 3s thrown in! 🤘
Had me in the first half, not gonna lie
Innit this the new Tool feat. Meshugga song?
The release of this seems to be 17 year earlier than the expected.
3:11 damn that hits fucking hard
Beginning: Yeah! I'm doing it!
Middle: Okay.. I got this!
End: Wt how many even was that?!
2:33 DARKNESS IMPRISONING ME!
Up to measure 33 now. Fun stuff.
Maybe can you do something for making a groove? My band would like to create a groove type of metal/hard rock (we're only curious)
