@@aryansigrid Late af reply but still, I think he is talking about the fact that male voices continue to drop well after puberty and the older you get the lower your voice will get and thus the harder high notes will become.

As a vocalist, I understand how difficult it is to sing the higher notes as I did in my youth. He was a generational vocalist years ago, and to still deliver is an accomplishment all by itself. Keep doing what you do brother.

yeah it's sad because the band gets better but your vocals get worse and you have to try and make adjustment but people want to hear the songs they remember, I remember hearing a Dokken album and it was years down the road where his voice became limited, he used to have pipes as well
not because of his age. he climb on staging pole in his concert, and fall off, the staging pole fall on him.just search for the video.

This is an incredible performance. Yes, there were a couple of shakier passages in the first half, but you can see his confidence grow and he absolutely KILLS it in the second half and especially the end. Those lines were worthy of any singer at the top of their game, and this man is in his 50s. Incredible - what a singer.

He'll always be a legend. His lower register still sounds really nice too. Can't really fault him for not hitting all the higher stuff like he did 30 years ago.

As a man I don’t generally wear my emotions on my sleeve, nor do I have tears staining my face watching any man singing a song, and this time, I didn’t either
Considering he’s at least 24 years older here than when he did the original recording, which is an absolute MONSTER to sing correctly on pitch, I’d say Mili did pretty darn well here. It’s impressive that he only needed to go down by a half step for this performance. A little pitchy in places, but give the man a break...name me a singer of this kind of music that can do the same things at 50 just as well as they did at 25. He’s lucky that he’s been able to get back to this level after that accident in 1992. I’ll always love Steelheart in whatever incarnation, but that original lineup of Mili, Chris, Frank, James and John (RIP) was amazing.
