Ah yass i use this technique all the time (for a couple of months now) and you can intensify every color. Like if you have a pink that's not standing out you use a pink sharpie then a pink polish. That makes the colors more pop!

It will. I used one of my bronze metallic sharpies and it worked.

If you use a very opaque white the colour will be way more intense. I love doing these, the options are endless.
