Never thought Eddie's record would get broken, unlike other sports, strongmen keep getting stronger and stronger💪
Prime Eddie is still stronger than all these guys, but these guys are extremely technical and freakish athletes these days...

That record was Bibby‘s though.
Both Eddie and Biby were good for at least 220kg+, they didint use any leg drive after all. But its more entertaining when guys are pushing wr each year for a kg or two than one behemoth pushing it for 10-15 kg once every 10 years.
previous athletes made such numbers possible in the minds of newer athletes.
I would dare to say that Tom is stronger than Mitch.

Yet Mitch constantly beats Tom in pretty much every strength event. You think Tom is stronger because he has bad technique and just muscles it up. Mitch is smart and actually employs good technique in addition to his strength. That's why he wins.
