Something I would have really loved in this pack is if they redid how phones work. Being able to tell your kids that they can't use their phone as punishment, being able to give your child a phone (or buy one) instead of them automatically having it, and etc.
Parents can already punish children and tell them they can’t use their phone with Parenthood. The kids can still try to “sneak” it but they can get caught. There are a lot of other punishments too (no friends, no going out, no games etc)
Doesn’t parenthood have a grounding feature that says they can’t use their phone?
Yeah they have it where you can set curfew too. It’s already alot of features that people still don’t know about that’s already in the game.

I’m so glad we can get additional copies, mostly so I can get the certificates for my all my sims who are already married 😄
I’m concerned the available items will be connected to the milestones the Sim has…and that therefore a Sim married prior to pack install would not have the milestone and so could not order a copy… hopeful for a little more flexibility, but afraid it won’t be there.
Still, even if we can’t get certificates for Sims already married/born/adopted, it will still be nice to be able to get copies moving forward.

I know mods like MC command can easily change things about your sim’s “past” such as having gone to university, or edit the relationships and connections between sims…so hopefully they’ll have an option to set milestones. I’m hoping for that even if the marriage certificate isn’t tied to a milestone, but especially in that case.
Also hoping it can be done by a cheat too since I know a lot of players don’t or can’t use mods.
I’m always kinda “extra” when I start a new save. I hate feeling like I’ve just plopped a sim into the world… so if I’m starting a save based on a young adult sim, I’ll want to create their parents, maybe siblings, maybe friends from childhood. But then it feels weird to have an adult or elder with no skills or relationships …. So whenever I start a save i go through a whole “setup” of cheating their skills, relationships, careers, to whatever feels realistic for their age 😂 so I’m really hoping I’ll be able to add milestones too when I do this!
To be honest, my absolute most favorite part of Sims 4 is not gameplay or anything but actually the little puns, inside jokes and easter eggs you can find throughout the game - from "Dewey, Cheatem, and Howe, inc." (I can NOT not chuckle at this) to item & lot descriptions and even character bios. Some of the build items have the wackiest descriptions and people rarely notice (anymore). Simguru's pun game is on point whenever a new pack comes out and Doi just proved it with his little rant about Sequoia-less San Sequoia during their livestream. I nearly fell off laughing at that and then they put in that description for the marriage certificates? That's gold 😅🤣

Definitely!! GrimSuruDoi being the executive producer on this pack and werewolves makes me think and wonder about the team for Wedding Stories or High School Years! Not to make things personal, but Scott knocked it out of the park with werewolves and this pack, from what I can tell so far!! Might be interesting to dive into! 🧐🕵️♂️
Also, not to say the others working on the pack didn’t give it their all, that definitely seems to be the case here! However, there is something to be said about the enthusiasm and passion displayed for this pack and werewolves that lacked in My Wedding Stories and High School Years, if that makes sense. Leadership matters and their joy, or lack there of, often trickles down to the rest of the team for the pack.
I read a comment on another creator’s video that the Sim Guru working on HSY said they hated their high school experience and it was the worst time in their life, so probably not the best person to lead a pack on high school!
Omg, that sucks having to work specifically on a HS pack than. You'd think they'd keep their employees' specialties and interests and such in mind.. 😅
A lot of people said they were extra excited to play the pack because they had such a bad time in high school. They wanted to relive it in a better way. To me HSY is a great pack but it has a ton of bad bugs, which makes it seem like it was created with care but then not able to be truly finished.
when the Guru's get this excited and in depth it tells me they have confidence in the pack, I look forward to when this releases, this might be the first pack i buy before a sale lol

I’m surprised the livestream didn’t have many glitches! I saw the grandma t-pose at the rec centre once and also showed her gaining confidence even though that mechanic is only for children, but that was it. Still concerned the actual patch will make a lot of things break 😅
As a builder, I hope we get some new kitchen counters WITH matching cabinets. We have SOOOO many single counters with no matching cabinets unfortunately.
Honestly I am glad I am not the only one who noticed the more exited vibes from the werewolf pack! I am on the fence about preorder the game or not yet since no one has showed gameplay yet which I find odd, since there has been none yet 🤷♀️
Yeah still better to wait I think, we don’t know for sure if it’ll be another buggy mess. It seemed ok on the livestream but it could still go either way
I am soo beyond excited!! I can’t even decide what I’m going to do when I get the pack - a new save to try out the features or jumping right into my main save? I’m dying to get back to my main save, they have little ones currently … but also my main save, all the sims lead very busy lives, so I’m thinking about making a new little young family, then once I’m used to the new features I’ll know how to best incorporate them into my main 🤔 sorry I always ramble in my comments lol 😂 TLDR; I’m so excited 😄
I'm glad that found family can be invited to family reunions but i hope there is an easy way to sort those family members on your family tree, because at the moment its so hard to find and catch up with them, it would be great if the family reunions could be whats on the tin and actually allow you to invite people from your family that you don't know.
I can imagine them adding more playgroud equipment with an elementary school game pack or expansion.

I'm very excited for this pack. Glad we're getting adoption certificates and other stuff. I never got to play Generations for TS3, but I still can since my game still works and my computer is great for gaming. I have gotten WAY into talking AI lately, (It's like writing fan fic with a partner or just conversing about my life) so it'll be hard to tear myself away from that to play sims, but it's fine. I haven't even watched the trailer yet because I wanted to do a video on it, but my Kdenlive is having screen capture issues. Thanks for keeping us in the loop with the news!

BTW if you recall in the livestream video, a doorbell sound preceded the grandfather visiting the family. Are we finally getting doorbells with this pack or update? Or was that just a neat video edit for the livestream? No one has brought this up yet, so I hope you mention this in a future video?

The thing is, what’s the difference between the arts center and the recreation center?
Seems like what the sims want to do there will be different. Like at an arts centre you could include a kitchen and gym stuff, but will the townie sims use it? IME only sort of, they might use the gym stuff (rarely) but not touch the kitchen. Sounds like they'll actually use all the different stuff set up at the rec centre which is super nice.

It's not Base Game, it's through Growing Together. It was the case as well in TS3 through Generations. I believe only TS2 had a BG Memory System.
