  • Protein structure - This lecture explains about the protein structure hierarchy including primary, secondary, tertiary structures of protein. All the types of protein structures are explained in this video with example. So watch this video to understand alpha helix and beta sheet structure and the role of primary structure of the protein to make 3d protein which dictates the function of the protein.
So keep watching this video for knowing the following details
    1. Primary structure of protein
    2. Secondary structure of protein
    3. Tertiary structure of the protein

Hey, Hi Iam Watching your tutorials since last 2 years (From the beginning of my graduation i must mention) and have stopped worrying about any topic or concept i feel is hard to study , because you make it too easy to not just memorize by also get our nerves attached to the inch and inch of the topic. I am a CSIR NET-SET , GATE , GRF and PET exam aspirant in life sciences and all i do for my exam preparation is take a book and pen and turn your videos on THAT'S ALL, all the notes the key points just everything i write is of yours and doing it , i scored 75% marks in my graduation last year in zoology just by your videos. Your videos are one stop destination for all higher studies. Last but not the least, Thank you for taking so much of efforts and best wishes to you sir. Keep teaching :)

During the loading period and in the beginning of the experiment, the cells are kept in an isotonic phosphate-buffered saline (PBS, see composition in Table 1). Estimate the resting Vm in the cells, assuming that the intracellular potassium concentration is 140 mM and the intracellular sodium concentration is 12 mM. The membrane conductance for potassium comprises presumably about 75% of the total membrane ion conductance, and the membrane conductance for sodium comprises 5% of the total membrane ion conductance.
Table 1. Composition of the isoosmotic PBS.
    Concentration (mM)
    NaCl 137
    CaCl2 0.9
    MgCl2 0.49
    KCl 2.7
    KH2PO4 1.5
    Na2HPO4 8.1

This is my favorite CZcams channel. With that said, I want to let you know that the slogan doesn't seem right in English. The best option would be, "It's smart learning, not hard learning." Another option that would make slightly more grammatical sense (but still not perfect) is, "It's a smart learn, not a hard learn." It's not a huge deal, but I think the majority of English speakers, in America at least, would agree that the first option sounds the best.
