Thank you for leaving in the funeral and the procession parts. As someone who knew Chris it was one of the most heartbreaking yet cherished memories I have in life driving the 100 miles to cowboy stadium and witnessing the unbelievable amounts of people on sides of the interstate, overpasses, exits, etc. It's undoubtedly sad that he was taken from the world the way that he was but he wouldn't have had it any other way. He went out in service of trying to help his brothers get back to a suitable normal.
Wow I would kill to be at Chris Kyle’s showing at the cowboys stadium
Everytime I watch this movie when it ends I always stand up and salute. I respect every veteran and Mr Kyle for what they've done for our country war is so fucked just wish everything was at peace. It's sad cause I also have Muslim family it sucks with all evil that's in the world.
Proof of identity chief?
@@ianferguson7763 of mine?
@@ianferguson7763 not real sure how me proving my identity has anything to do with anything...sounds a little suspect to me
You guys should watch the making of American sniper. The interview with Chris’ wife is just amazing. The movie wouldn’t have been made without her support
having served in the british army i dont care who you are or how tough you think you are killing someone even under wartime conditions changes you and certain things you just cannot talk about with anyone.
Thank you for your service
I’m a retired US army ranger. I can personally attest to that. To kill a man, even an evil one, and make no mistake the taliban and AQ are pure evil, is to kill a part of yourself. I know I left a part of me in that desert, a part I can’t get back. If you’ve never experienced it, I can’t explain it to you
I have the pleasure to know personally the argentinian veteran that kills Col. Jones in Falklands. And I can tell you man, that changes him forever and ever.
Cannot or will not?
Talking about it helped me. Took awhile to find the right person who would understand
I'm a veteran volunteer with other vets. This always hits home.
As a marine vet, speaking from personal experience. I’ve been told by my loved ones I don’t seem to act human because of my emotional state, and why do I go back. Best answer I can think of was that the battlefield was the only place my emotions made any since. That’s where I can act “normally” I guess.
im the same but we have to try if you need help call a line sincerely
Sense*
Lol. Sure
Saw someone react to saving private Ryan. Something the captain said struck me
How was he going to explain to his wife days like that, losing a man.
You'd be one way before the war, then Something happens and part of you dies and will be in that place forever and a part of that place will be with you forever. And you'll always feel like part of you is still over there and you can't pull it back together at home. Maybe thats why some guys go back to be whole. And that's awfully fucked up but it makes sense to me.
@@wonderweasle2212Not everyone is a fake tough guy bud.
every single one of those wings at the end were from someone who he helped save and even that truly cannot quantify how many lives he saved.
You guys are no bullsh!t reactions.
So many other channels that just fake emotions and reactions for clicks.
Y'all are genuine and have earned my respect and a sub.
Crazy and sad how Chris survived 1000+ days in Hell and when he got home he was killed.
Tbh youre safer on the border of Syria than in some places in texas lmao
@@Joseph.M. you can’t be serious with that statement. Chris was killed by a Marine supposedly suffering from PTSD. Not some robbery gone wrong or car jacking event. Texas is a hell of a lot safer than being anywhere near an actual combat environment.
@@Joseph.M. safer in the hood then the burbs
@@Joseph.M. you have probably shot innocents thinking youre in harms way
The funeral escort at the end gets me every time...
Thanks for your reaction. God bless America and those who died on 9/ 11. God bless all our fallen heroes like Chris Kyle.
he wasnt the only one
I really appreciate y'all playing as much of the Memorial Footage as you did.
This movie always hits hard for me. My dad is a vet, and I have many many memories of growing up going to see my dad on base, getting to ride in a tank, and getting to see an Apache Helicopter. Also, Chris Kyle was born in a town just an hour from my hometown in West Texas, there’s a statue of Chris in honor of his memory.
You guy made me cry today. We lost the gem, the legend. A True patriot. RIP Kyle.
I believe everyone should see this movie. It really shows what our service members deal with that most of the public never gets to see.
That movie was mostly lies and half truths
@@ricknelson5292 explain
yeah see how the US Terrorist Army killing civilians and so on. bullshit propaganda movie
@@ricknelson5292 PTSD isnt a half truth if you have seen combat and deny it youre a liar
@@ricknelson5292 No it wasn’t, the only “Hollywood” add-ons are the sniper Mustafa. Chris Kyle did make a shot at that range, but he did write in his book that another American Sniper did kill an Iraqi sniper thought to be Mustafa. We all know Hollywood puts their own twist on true story movies. Either way, Chris is a hero to many military personnel and civilians. And should be a hero to all Americans just like all our troops should be seen as such. So my friend, how about you tone down the negativity and be respectful or just gtfo.
As a US Veteran, thank you for this reaction!! And for the respect for who he was!! Thank you!!!!! 🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
Great reaction Y’all! Another amazing and impactful military film y’all should react to is 13 hours the secret soldiers of Benghazi!
Great movie. Only just seen it maybe a month or 2 ago. If only I’ve seen it on its release date
they did 13 hours
really awesome movie
3:29 "I make white folk proud and I hose down their ladies"
bruh thats you 🤣
Marc said to Chris in the movie at one point “yea man, but evil is everywhere…” it really is. Even at home, where he was killed.
You guys are just excellent. Watching you watch this was a pleasure. I never got to serve because of a back injury. I am so thankful for all those that have served. Bless each and everyone of you that did. Keep up the great reactions guys.
My husband left for his second tour when I was 7 months pregnant with our first child. I was nursing her on a Skype call with him one day and I heard someone yell "incoming!!" And he said "babe I've got to go!" And the screen went black...scariest 48hrs of my life until I heard from him again. Every time I see the scene where she's on the phone with Chris Kyle, I lose it
The scenes at the very end was actual footage from Kyle's funeral procession.
What a hard movie to watch. His pain felt so real. I liked how Chris knew how to talk in few words, and did not need to raise his voice.
There’s an interview Chris Kyle did on Conan, only a few minutes but really showed his humble personality and how well Bradley Cooper did adopting his accent/way of speaking. All the funeral footage at the end is from his real funeral. Chris Kyle was an incredible human being. Loved seeing your reactions to this!
Humble? Infamous liar maybe. Ask Jesse Ventura lol
@@muckit606 Wow dude. Have a little respect. Whatever did or did not happen with the two of them, it does not negate the fact that Chris Kyle was the definition of a hero and saved the lives of countless soldiers during his many tours, and it certainly wouldn't mean he deserved to die in the awful way he did.
@@muckit606 People change, fame can consume people. Perhaps chris was an honest man before he retired for good, and then started exaggerating. Regardless, he’s a hero. And we should praise heroes.
@@kaye596 The guy lied about how many medals he had and how many kills he had. what's to respect?
Not to mention the people he straight up murdered during Katrina, if his stories are true.
Chris Kyle, true American patriot. The funeral scene in the end was real footage from Chris Kyle’s funeral in TX. Before the movie released Chris and another veteran were shot and killed by a Iraq veteran that was having a hard time after returning home. They took him to a gun range to do some target shooting.
Too bad he didn't have more time to find those weapons of mass destruction.
@@Glory_2_Russia Wow original comment never seen it before
The end scenes to this movie, I was part of a youth rotc program for the us navy and was present at his funeral service and his burial, we lost a great warrior, husband, and more importantly a father. HOOYAH Chris Kyle fair winds and fair seas we have the helm
he was hardly there as a father and husband
@@mastixencounter He did his best while serving his country, saving countless lives overseas and helping his fellow Veterans. All while dealing with severe PTSD. Cut him a break and respect the deceased, or gtfo. Nobody wants to hear your negativity.

Opening night in the theatres you could here a pen drop as everyone walked out with thier heads down. It was a very emotional moment. I assumed everyone had the same knot in thier throats that I did. The respect and gratitude was very powerful. RIP Legend.
The fact that he was killed by another veteran boils my blood
It's the mental health care after serving tours that is the problem. ...I served two tours of Afghanistan. ...lucky my ptsd was diagnosed early and I recived therapy that helped ...it does NOT stop the nightmares. ...but it helped. A lot of veterans recive no support , they are on the streets , on drugs , and committing suicide. You cannot turn off a switch if it's broken .
@@tiffanybiscuit7587 thank you for your service and sacrifices. And im sorry that our country doesn’t treat veterans like they should. It’s sickening.
RIP Chris Kyle (April 8, 1974 - February 2, 2013), aged 38
You will always be remembered as a legend.
Loved this movie when it first released and showed the effect war has on people who are still trying to have a life after service.
And the military at times treats it's combat vets like-TRASH. I was treated this way after I got hurt on my 2nd straight deployment, tho,it was my rear-D unit and a certain civilian female who worked at Ft Hood's mental health clinic.I had to threaten to go to my congressman to get the treatment I deserved, but, luckily for me a colonel from medical helped me out.
The seal at the very end was actually in the movie and played himself. He was very close to Chris.
"When you are fighting a war, it's just us and them, trust have no value in the battlefield"
This was said by my great grandfather to my grandfather.
They're so much to cover on this
•1st the rifle scene in his childhood when he leaves the rifle and his dad yelled at him to never leave your rifle which sets him on a path to be a wolf then the final scene on his final scene where he leaves his rifle on the floor in the sandstorm was a metaphor that he was ready to leave that life behind him finally
•2nd the women and children carrying the bombs was a very paranoid moment for military personnel because what I was told by my elder leadership and veterans and my cousins that was in Afghanistan in the very beginning they put out papers around saying turn in bombs weapons to nearest certain location with any information for food, money, supplies, anything they had some did turn in to get the reward and others suicide which put every one of them on edge not knowing who was bad or good and they can die at anytime at the moment
•3rd and in the end yes sadly it was a fellow Marine that killed Chris Kyle that he was trying to rehabilitate their is a statue memorial of Chris Kyle in idk which ether his hometown or childhood town idk somewhere in beautiful Texas to this hero
•4th that military switch is almost impossible to turn off especially when you went in and fully willing to embraced that way of life to be a Marine, Soldier, sailor, airmen to this day several veterans can't find the off switch
•5th deployments especially back then were at least 9 months to almost 2 years especially during the beginning of the war until the regulations change it to less than a year max my senior leaders and cousins told me the hell of the years their
I am 74 years old. Spent 26+ years in the Army "at the tip of the spear" in SF and the 82nd. Still cannot find the military off switch. Think of fallen brothers every single day.

No, his dad said wolves are the predators who are looking to cause violence and sheepdogs are the ones who have the guts to confront wolves. He even said "I'll whoop your ass if you turn into a wolf" at the dinner table. He wanted them to become sheepdogs.
I started crying so hard when I saw that date come up on that screen at the theater. it's a Holiday in texas every year on Feb 2nd.
My wife and I saw this in the theater. No one moved during the funeral. Once that was over, everyone applauded.
good reaction Deff should do both "13 Hours" & "12 Strong" next both based on true stories (there is a statue at Ground Zero in Honor of the soldiers portrayed in 12 Strong)
Your reactions are GREAT!! kudos to you guys!
Really like your reactions and the input you both have for films and tv series.
Unfortunately he was murdered. Bradly performance was quote by his wife eirry he definitely did a great performance. He was a fellow Texan and he was the second well know Texas SEAL alongside with Marcus Luttrell the Lone Survivor.
The whole messed up part of this tragedy...
Is that he did all that. Only to come home and get murdered by someone he trying to help. Once he became human again... It was taken from him. It's messed up.

🇺🇸🙏🇺🇸🙏
Loved watching this with you guys.
I did not know Chris but of course being a reader and lover of our service members i knew of him. Also, he was a fellow Texan. I remember the day he passed and the day of his service. It destroys me to see it or think about it. Im not an emotional person but anything pertaining to Service members is something that means so much to me and hits a raw nerve. A man that did everything he did and lived to tell the story, just to loose his life at home. That might not be the right attitude but its how i feel about it. Thank y’all for watching and experiencing this story. Love y’all’s channel.
I heard Bradley Cooper actually spoke with Chris Kyle prior to filming over the phone, since he was still alive when the script was finalized. They had to rewrite the ending, after his unfortunate death, from what I read online.
Chris Kyle is probably the closest thing we had to an actual Captain America he was that damn dedicated...
Chris Kyle is a hero, but that's not an apt description. The only US veteran that was a real life Captain America was John Basilone. I'm not trying to downplay what he did, but Basilone was a leader while Kyle was a follower.
I had no idea you guys had another reaction channel I'm glad I found it:)
Taya Kyle, Chris’s wife is an incredible lady, so strong.
Its tradition to place your seal trident medal on a fallen comrades coffin. Usually its about 5 or six that sre placed however on his there were 100 stampled in by each individual seal. May he rest in peace.
The marine veteran that shot Chris, was sitting in back seat of car, and saw Chris and other Seal texting each other and were saying things that made him feel less than them, and he thought they were going to take him somewhere and kill him, and blame it on shooting accident. so the marine killed them first! This is what I have read in his confession. Tragic and sad. war creates paranoia and fears.
The other guy was chad littlefield he wasn’t a seal. He was Chris Kyle’s neighbor and workout buddy
He actually said they just didn't talk to him, which I find hard to believe considering Kyle did text Littlefield saying "This guy is nuts" and Littlefield responded "Watch my six". Its highly unlikely that he even saw the texts.
Chris Kyle was a legend and a shining example of patriotism.
Never give up the proud of being Americans, like Chris Kyle said US it’s the greatest country in the world. You must be very proud of being American.
This film is amazing and a true story it’s so real and emotional Bradley cooper is one of my favorite actors
Great reaction as always guys! Just a year after this movie Bradley Cooper and Sienna Miller (Taya Kyle) did another movie together called Burnt. It is an entirely different kind of movie and one worth checking out for sure!
I remember when the news covered his death. It’s so tragic not just how he died but the fact that his kids had to grow up without him. I was 20 when my dad passed so I can’t imagine how hard it’d be for 2 kids as young has his to go through that especially everything he survived while serving only to come home to die from someone who had lost his mind
I was one of many standing in the rain that day.
Chris kyle Legend ❤️
Once you have the training to be a soldier & a successful killer, you can never undo the killer part of who you are!! ( That part stays with you for life)
one of my favorite movies ever it shows how much they really go thru
Chris Kyle's service was held in the stadium where the Dallas Cowboys played. He was laid to rest in Austin, TX. The funeral procession was incrdibly long and, even though the weather was very nasty, the highway and the overpasses were lined virtually the whole trip from Dallas to Austin.
One show i would love for you to watch is Generation Kill phenomenal show it's about a Force Reconnaissance unit (Marines) in the invasion of Iraq 2003
Fun Fact:
Most seals averaged 7-10 tridents on their coffin out there by those closest to them usually their teammates and other seals they served with. Chris Kyle had over 100 Tridents in his coffin more than any other SEAL a true testament to the amount of lives he impacted.
Excellent reaction guys thx
And this, ladies and gents, is why I stand when that song plays.
My night just got better!!!
I knew Chris, I wasn't a seal. I was a Contractor over there when he. He was a genuine guy. God needed a sniper so he pick Chris
This movie always gets me choked up at the end..
Great review guy`s.
I was the same way in the theater when I saw this.
EVERYONE gasp - I even heard some people crying.
Should also watch act of valor, behind enemy lines, we were soldiers and hunter killer
The Outpost should be the next movie you guys should watch Clint Eastwood son is in it
Yall during that drilling scene was hilarious
You guys are awesome 👌
Bradley Cooper was great in this movie, but as you said, Chris Pratt is the only other person I could see depicting Kyle at this level (especially after watching The Terminal List)
One of the greatest sniper’s of all time
I recently learned this movie misrepresented the death of Marc lee, who died standing in a window firing on the enemy who had opened up on the seals. He was the first seal killed in Iraq. Killed in Ramadi.
Still gets me choked up.
Amazing movie, juba appears in the movie too! 💥💫
i was one of the ones on the overpass. may Chris rest in peace. "The Legend"
Another couple of amazing war films to check out would be "13 Hours" and "Zero Dark Thirty"
You guys need to do “13th Hour” YOU HAVE TO DO THIS ONE. You will not be disappointed!
For that shot 23:38 it's so long you actually would need to take into affect the spinning of the globe, not just wind, and distance.
THE LEGEND KYLE 🙏💪🏻🇺🇸
Its a callus on his elbow, some call it snipers elbow its from laying down or resting your elbow on the ground while shooting.
Everytime I watch the movie I cry my eyes out. The funeral line was miles and miles long. You can watch that on utube. He was a American Hero that was murdered by a p.o.s. little coward. My husband got the book but I can't read it yet, but he tells me it's better than the movie. The day that I don't cry will be the day I know I'm in trouble. So glad ya'll watched this.
Another one to watch stars Kevin Bacon as Lt Col Michael Strobel. The film is called Taking Chance. A film that fits right in with Memorial Day. Have some tissues handy.
We have friends that are Patriot Guard Riders that escorted Chris during his funeral…
I highly recommend “FLAGS OF OUR FATHERS” AND THEN “LETTERS FROM IWO JIMA”.
You become a professional war movie observers. Like and greetings from Ukraine.
I was on one of those bridges that they went under on the way to his final Cowboys Stadium 🇺🇸
Great review
I always wonder. In the scene with the kid and the mom. Who is defending their home and who is 5000 miles away from their home? Who is invading another country and who is protecting their home in that scene?
Yes. Looked at through the other side of the lens.
Gettysburg (1993) is a classic, but it is long. I think a really relevant movie to see in the times we are facing. Also watch 13 Hours, I've met one of the guys that was there, definitely worth the watch.
During the making of the movie Chris's wife and some of the guys that were there said
That when Bradley Cooper stood in a certain light, they honestly thought that it was Chris himself.
You can thank these guys for you being able to sit at home in comfort whit your woman
I love your reactions. How did you edit the video to have a faded backround? It looks dope!
The person Chris tried to help was actually crazy he even texted about it I mean the way I see it he should’ve ran home but Chris never gave up on people and it costed his life but he helped so many people both in and out of the Seals if they were more people like Chris in this world 🌎 it would be a much merrier and better and lovelier place
