As far as I remember, the haveli was situated in Gumti Bazar which led to Lohe ka Talab, and not Said Mitha Bazar which led to Hira Mandi. I am now over 91years and my memory of Lahore is fast fading. I shall be glad if someone from Lahore could advise about the correct location of the Haveli.

We Asian are very very dirty why because where we live we don't clean the place no matter where we live.look at staircase no matter they are tenants ar their own place .what a shame. I was less than two years of age when we left Karachi.. My mother left cooked meals in the kitchen when we migrated.We left by a boat with a capacity to accomodate 80./ 85 people. But it was over loaded with 300 /350 people. So instead of bringing us to Mumbai were dropped at Kandla. I now live in Mumbai India. I am a Microbiologist and a Dental surgeon too.
