Re-rendered and optimized for high-definition (from interlaced to progressive), and subsequently re-optimized for video streaming.
This is the official video directed by Hal Sutherland and produced by Norm Prescott, and Lou Scheimer. Originally produced for broadcast on "The Archie Comedy Hour" and "The Ed Sullivan Show" in 1969, and later broadcast on "Archie's Sugar, Sugar/Jingle Jangle Show" in 1970, it remains one of four videos from this era that are fully accounted for, alongside all the music segments from "The Archie Show" (1968), and "Archie's Funhouse" (1970). Unless some @blameitonjorge miracle occurs, the remaining 12 music segments for the Comedy Hour are currently missing and presumed forever lost. The music segments weren't broadcast on television once Archie/Sabrina content reached syndication in 1976, meaning that either they were already missing by that point, or they were cut from the NTSC videotape reels for other reasons. It's not known why these materials went missing, why it was only segments from this first Comedy Hour, or when they went missing, but they're lost to time, unless copies exist in privated libraries.
This video shows Hot Dog trying to show his affection for Foo Foo before falling in a lake, and down a waterfall. The original edit had Hot Dog exhausted from searching for his buried bones, saying his nerves feel all "jingle-jangled". • Jingle Jangle - The Ar... This version has the intro cut away. Reynor's Bear Cave (I think that's what his channel name was, it's since been done away with), the first uploader of this Ed Sullivan promo claims to have been part of the crew that restored these videotape reels for the 2008 Archie/Sabrina DVDs, and that this random videotape reel from The Ed Sullivan Show was the only reason this video isn't lost to time, though the link I've provided shows that somewhere the original 16mm film reels (or at least the 2" videotape reels) exist, waiting to be beautifully de-interlaced/telecined, color-graded, mastered, and so on, into rich, 2K resolution. one can only dream...
This video has been included on the Archie's Funhouse DVD boxset from 2008.
Video extracted from DVD and converted to .mkv using MakeMKV, de-interlaced and upscaled using Handbrake, and edited with Black Magic Davinci Resolve. I kind of didn't want to bust out Black Magic for this, but I noticed the right audio channel was quieter than the left. I'm glad I waited until after finding the software, I think if I did this back when I used Camtasia, I'd have had to use Audacity to fix the audio leveling.

Hey there, I was wondering if it was possible for you to maybe upload or share the episodes with music and effects audio that were included on The Archie Show complete series set?
I've been wanting to hear those for years now since nobody's ever uploaded them and I've always wanted to hear the isolated music. Obviously, you don't have to if youre not interested but I thought I'd try and ask. Thanks!

maybe, i could try getting the albums on CD and dubbing them over the videos, but that wouldn't be for a little while

Hmm, not sure what you mean here exactly. I'm referring to the bonus audio tracks for a couple of regular episode segments that include only the background music and sound effects without vocals. I'm not sure how they're presented since I don't have the set myself, I've only heard that it has those included.

@TheSPB22 i see, whenever i have time on my hands, and after I'm done with Funhouse, I'll go through the DVD again and go through them
