Finally got to the Tail Of The Dragon down in Deals Gap on the Goldwing. This years road trip for June was down to North Carolina and Tennessee. Rode some fantastic roads in the area including TOD and other which will be forthcoming. Enjoy!
I was out there this week - wanted to get to the Dragon and the Iron Horse resort but it didn't work out. I did ride the Diamondback - THAT was a lot of fun!
So I’ve heard! We rode the moonshiner 28 all the way down into GA and SC..they paved the road in GA with fresh pavement! Also a ton of fun! We did end up riding NC 80 south -aka the devils whip - from where the BRP intersects. Looking forward to going back next year.
@@motorider4130 We were right there at 80 but after 226A continued on to Maggie Valley and Wheels Through Time. BRP was excellent too. There’s a lot I need to cover out there!

My wife and I were just there on June 30th. We rode the Dragon and Cherahola Skyway, missed the 28. Then went to the Dragon Slayer in Lynch, KY to Appalachia, VA on KY 160. Great rides!
