The time has come to reflect on the achievements I've unlocked in the past year and prove that even though you may be terrible at video games, you can still accomplish some pretty impressive things if you're stubborn enough

Try and get all of the Doom Eternal achievements you would actually go insane trying
comeplet rose son of Rome hardest achievement its good game
@@cowmania6196 Yup. He should def add beating 2016's and Eternal's Ultra Nightmare modes (Ancient Gods included)
Bro...do Halo 2 on Legendary lol i just finished it with my cousin the other day. Took us about a month n half!
100% Celeste is Hell with all of the things you have to pull off and I would love to see you try it Snam
God, the way the Calisto Protocol crashed as soon as you said "I'm not really having any issues with this game." Just perfect.
I’ll never get timing as good as that again
I must have replayed that part like ten fucking times. Snam's reaction is fucking priceless
Instant karma right there.
Spelunky 2 completing 7-99 should be added. It’s insane. Took me hundreds of hours
Mile high club was brutal!!
usually people try not to relive their trauma but i love the content anyway lol
Haha
LMAO it’s part of the healing process
@@Snamwiches immersion therapy :p?
Lmaooooo
This is literally smart as hell, why? Cause he made a whole video about his own achievements right? But if you’re new to the channel, then you learn a little about each achievement for each game, which in turn, you get a sneak peek at each of Snam’s videos on said topics. He made a self promotion (flex) video…. and I love it. Cause it’s only been a year on the platform but at this point we are here for him, not what he puts out. keep going Snam, you’re doing great. 1 million by halfway through next year, I’m calling it. “oh wait, that’s the wrong game.” -Snam in almost every video. ⚰️🤘🏻🖤
Yup, this is the first of his videos I've seen and I'll definitely check out some others.
As a platinum Hunter. The Hollow Knight pantheon Trophy Was so stressful 40+ minutes Just to get bodied by the last boss.
The nerves fighting Radiance knowing you’ll lose an hour if you fail are unmatched
Me and my lady been working / chipping away at Hollowknight Absolute Radiance for a few months now
The worst thing about p5 is that gpz is directly after markoth. I’m good at gpz now but markoth is…. Markoth
@@Snamwichesthe pantheon was brutal, but in terms of time spent and pressure for any mistakes, achieving 7-99 in Spelunky 2 took me about 10x as long to grind out, and a successful run takes 4 hours or so. The whole time a single mistake can end it in an instant. So much pressure. It was the hardest but most fulfilling thing I’ve ever done in a game.
@@tri4cejawn365 I'm still of the opinion that Ascended Markoth is the hardest boss in the game, legit struggled on him more than any other boss.
As one of those responsible for you going for the Alien: Isolation achievement…..I’m sorry lol
It’s tough, but I got it on Easy difficulty. I cannot IMAGINE doing this on the hardest mode. I hope you get it soon!
Yeah I’ve actually gotten it twice now on easy so I wanted to step up the challenge. I did this to myself really LOL
just imagine fighting two Goliaths that learns from mistakes he made but instead fighting with sling, you fight with rubber bands and limited marble balls as projectile.
New game, hardest diff and speedrun
@Snamwiches I was one of the few who did this on ultra nightmare. I had to watch speed runners because they figured out where and when the AI learns new things what triggers the alien and the most optimal routes and uses of your tools. Other than that it's rng
yeah it's shit i've got this achievement 3 times one on ps3 ps4 and pc on hardest dif and yeah it took me about 5 years lol
It’s a fantastic day when you upload! This also must be a 1 year anniversary of the channel, congratulations!!
it was yesterday ackshually 🤓
@@rhinocort1184 go outside
It is, and thank you!
World at War Veteran is probably one of my most satisfying achievements. That final level and the amount of grenades was absolutely insane.
I beat it on pc so I didn't get a achievement
That's one of the ones I never managed. Still bother me. I was near the end I think and there was a crossroad tunnel you had to push down. Died a hundred times at least.
WaW on veteran was the game that stopped me 100% completing Call of Duty games after I completed it haha. I had completed all of them on veteran since CoD 2 (which was also super difficult) but Heart of the Reich was sooooo frustrating, but I was so glad to finally do it. I'd definitely say that one level is harder than Mile High Club by far.
You forgot the "Corrupted Files" challenge! That has got to be up there.
Honestly congrats for the channel, dude! Such a breath of fresh air and you seem like a really chill guy. Keep it up!
Snam is easily the best difficult achievement hunter on all of CZcams. This man makes the impossible look doable, all the while making me lose my mind and laugh at the dumbest stuff. Keep up the amazing content! :)
Cool Video Snam. You always make great content even if it’s not like your usual videos. Hope for another awesome year of your achievement hunting!
That Callisto Protocol Moment was so funny. I remember that one. I love your videos so much keep them coming. This was a great video idea too, gives you some time to have some insight about the games after some times have passed.
I actually found your channel while looking for videos on WAW veteran after I completed my playthrough. It brought me great joy in knowing I was not the only one to not realize the enemies at the end of Heart of the Reich don't infinitely respawn. Keep up the great vids your content is awesome! P.S. I'd like to see a Halo Wars (first one) Legendary run (or LASO if you really want to suffer). I found that game absurdly difficult when going for even just my Legendary playthrough and LASO felt nearly impossible.
honestly i was so happy to see someone do achievements on l4d 1 and 2 it brought back so many memories i had playing those 2 games thank you, also the vidoes have been really enjoyable and intriguing to watch.
I absolutely love your content. My favorite is easily beating both evil within games on Akumu, it is an absolute blast and makes the game feel scarier and cheesier. And I just noticed alien isolation at the end, love that one as well, those are my two favorite hardest challenges to complete regularly.
Great video Snam and congrats for one year on CZcams! I only started watching your content two months ago but let me just say that I love it. Watching all of your suffering and triumphs has managed to inspire me to get back into achievement/trophy hunting after a long break due to college (I’m currently working on Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 and plan to soon finish all the VR missions in Metal Gear Rising). Also, as someone who loves hack and slashes let me just say that I’m hyped to see you get all S-Ranks in DMC 5. I wish you the best of luck in that endeavor, alongside Wolfenstein 2, and can’t wait to see what achievement you manage to conquer next!
Sheeesh good luck with MGR, looking forward to doing that myself sometime too!
I love this recap of all you've done so far on stream. Good tier list.
Snam got me into achievement hunting and its been a lot of fun, love the channel snam!
Amazing tier list Snam, thank you for all the fun videos to watch over the last year.
Also, how did I miss the all radiance challenge? Gonna watch that now, thanks!
That was before CZcams unfortunately so the footage doesn’t exist besides a few clips remaining on twitch. Super bummed about it but maybe I’ll do something like it again with Silksong!
I’m genuinely glad I found your channel, never thought that one day I’ll enjoy watching an achievement hunter, last time i tried watching similar content was many years ago, and I’m really having fun watching you play dude, keep up the good work, can’t wait for Wolfenstein 2 !
Mad respect for the Hollow Knight achievos.
Game's one of my faves, but it is HARD.
YES! After all my hampering on you doing DMC 5 it's finally gonna happen! So glad I found your channel man. Can't wait for the future videos!
Congrats on the channel dude. Been here from the start!
Love you Snam!! Here's to more great content:)
Great idea for a tier list! I think the achievement I'm most proud of is Stampers Forever for Rare Replay. While it's not the hardest achievement, it's the one that I spent the most time getting. Having to play the older games from the ZX Spectrum (If the cheats disabled achievements, I'd never have finished the achievement), to finding appreciation for games like Jetforce Gemini or Banjo Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts. Although Perfect Dark Zero was a rough point in Stampers Forever because of how you had to grind out multiplayer bot matches to get the 750g required for all the stamps. Here's to another year, and so glad I discovered your channel.
Damn, starting Rare Replay is brave based on what I’ve heard. Congrats on the accomplishment!
Love your videos! Seriously keep em coming!
Great video as always. Plus love The Ridge offer!
Back in the day, I placed 10 or 11 in the world for mile high club on veteran difficulty. Shit took part of my soul to get that
Sheeeeeeesh that’s crazy impressive though
@@Snamwiches not as impressive as your patience with some of your achievements 😂 god like patience you have lmao
Been a great journey. Excited to see what you do next
I love these kind of videos. Keep up the good work! ^^
Dead Space 2 on Hardcore was a trip. I used my last save right before the final boss because I was afraid of choking the last QTE with the ship (I did😂)
If only I had a save there too haha, congrats on getting it!
@@Snamwiches I’ve always wanted to try it, cause y’know, I hate myself, any advice for keeping my sanity in the process if I ever finally try to go for it?
@@arthurfleck629 I have spent too many hours of my life thinking about this.
Step 1: play through on survivor or zealot to jog your memory of the game! Try out different weapons to see what you like, take note of spots you struggle on to potentially make saves for in HC, and get good at using statsis, and cutting blades off necromorphs to fire back at them. Practice catching puker and spitter spit and throwing it back at them!
General combat tip: Stalkers can only come at you one at a time, and the one that’s attacking will howl before running at you, so be alert and you’ll never get hit!!
Also, that super hard section where Ellie is trying to unlock the door and you’re fighting off waves of necromorphs? Literally just run around in circles and don’t kill anything. The initial wave is kids, and you can outrun them. If you don’t kill any, more won’t spawn in. (inLove!! Posted a no damage zealot run playthrough I studied for my HC run, and this blew my mind)
Hell, I strongly recommend that video, the level of play gives you some good ideas of how to master this game
Stick to plasma cutter and one other gun. The Javelin gun is a great pick because it does a ton of damage and it’s alt fire is great crowd control for kids. Stasis is KING and should be upgraded and used liberally. Enemies in this game are designed to be fast and overwhelming, so slow ‘em down a bit😈😈I’ve done HC with just plasma cutter and stasis (well, until the end)
At the end of the game, respec your second weapon to buy and upgrade a CONTACT BEAM. The AOE alt fire with stasis trivializes the government sector, and the main fire is insane damage. You can see these weapon choices in the playthrough I mentioned putting in WORK.
If you’re playing on any Xbox console, you also get 4* saves. The original 360 version had two discs, and at Chapter 7 the game is programmed with a fixed save for that transition. This works on Series X, S, Xbox One, all of ‘em. My saves were chapter 7*, before drill ride, before eye machine, and the last save station right outside the boss fight
My saves are way different than what’s normally recommended but that’s why I say to play it and see what you struggle with the most! I thought Snam’s saves were kooky as hell, as he would think mine, but we both got the job done.
And most importantly, HAVE FUN, I am confident in saying this is the best game ever made, it is an absolute treat even on a frustrating challenge run.
DS2 on hardcore was easy af. Not sure how people had trouble on it. Zealot can go to hell tho.
@@CrabbyCakes702I got platinum and beat DS2 hardcore within a week of the game releasing
I can feel you on the Metal Gear Solid. Took me around 300 hours over 5 YEARS of on and off play to get the platinum on the game. A good chunk of that spent on getting all S-tiers and completing all side objectives.
Man yeah it’s a BIG game. Congrats on completing it too!
How did it take that long?
I did it in 170 hours and i even grinded all of the insane op guns that you can get too, and thats on top of me idling my pc during the game
@@RussianZOmBieATTACK I did a ‘casual playthrough’, finishing the game in around 130ish hours (there was a lot of time spent just sandboxing). It was not until I finished that I tried going for the achievements. So I pretty much had to replay every mission, do the remaining side missions etc… I also tried my hardest not to look at guides for the S ranks and side-ops since I enjoyed the “scheming” aspect of planning out my route etc…
@@danielaguilar9011 If you were not using a guide, then i understand the hours it took. I used a guide, and many mission required do overs even with a guide.
highly underated chanel here, love your content so much i have binged all of it now, hope to catch you streaming one day keep it up snam!!
As I always say on your streams, I love your content. Keep up the good work my friend
Love your content, always waiting for a new video, as a 360 player i enjoy your videos very much, keep up the good work!
Hey Snam, the Callisto protocol got some new updates and new achievements along with a harder difficulty and permadeath! Should give the new ones a go :) Love the vids
Probably gonna wait for all the DLC to come out first, but very down to revisit it!
Well I thought the tier list was gonna include how fun they were to attempt, but that wasn't it, which means we need ANOTHER tier list. Love your content ❤️
I don't know why, but I really like your work and style, and you are one of the few You Tubers that I have been following since I found you. I wish you the best
Super entertaining videoes and streams, keep it up Snam =)
This was really interesting. Hopefully in a year or so you can update your list with any new achievements you've got. Would love to see you tackle the Devil may cry series sometime in the future.
Its not in the list of games in this video, but the hardest achievement I have gotten was completing the Call of Duty Black Ops 3 campaign on Realistic difficulty. The achievement is called "No one will believe you" and the reason why it was so tough was that if you got hit there was about a 95% chance it would one shot you or leave you at one health. It was a big issue in the more enemy heavy missions and the multiple boss fights but I believe it was made for 4 player coop but I still ran it solo.
I love your content!! I can't wait for your next video!
As a fellow achievement/trophy hunter, I know first hand for a few just how much of an achievement getting them is. Also plan on going for a few of these, and the way you talk about and describe them makes me excited to go for em myself, great vid man keep em coming.
I have been watching you over the last couple of months and watched all of you videos. Well done my friend. I am no achievement hunter but I do complete every game a play and do not have the patience to go back and reply usually. I admire your persistence and efforts! ❤
I love the pride the rises in snams voice when he explains the challenge he did to beat it takes two. Me and my girlfriend hated the level with the angler fish so I could only imagine doing it by yourself.
I love you man! That was just the video I was looking for!
Oh man even the ad is funny! You're a natural Snam
I just recently got the Dead Rising platinum. One my my favorite childhood games, always wanted to platinum it. I was able to get the 7 Day Survivor trophy on the first try- thankfully
Man your videos are amazing !! Keep em’ coming !! Love from France 🇫🇷
Soooo happy I found your channel. Very fun and very funny! And very impressive! Looking forward to more! Particularly Devil May Cry!
Me too! Love that game even though I’m terrible at it
You're such a dude! Channel is blwoing up and its amazing to see! 😁
Snam, you are a true hero of the achievement hunting community
Please attempt to go for Battlefield 3’s Bullseye trophy, it would make a really good video honestly
I don’t remember that trophy, what do you need to do to unlock it?
@@arthurfleck629have to rescue all hostages without alerting any enemies in the mission Drop ‘em like liquid
Great edit with your playtrough :D !
very cool video. i like it! :D
and as a person who has seen most if not all of your youtube videos, it was a good time to watch the little video parts and be like "ah yeah that one :D"
keep it up snam. you rock!
Would be great to see a follow up to this video with the new achievements added to the list
I love all your videos, you are super fun to watch
Hey snam I think your videos are a lot of fun! Cheers mate! Good luck on meatboy💀
I did the Mile High Club achievement back when COD 4 came out. It was so frustrating, and I just got lucky spamming grenades in different places and creeping forward. I think there was a mission where I had to protect someone, and I remember placing him underneath something and luckily it helped to save him. What sucks is that I didn't know what achievements were, so I got the achievement on my brother's Xbox 360, and when I finally got my own console, I didn't even bother transferring the gamertag to my own Xbox 360, so my achievement is lost forever. I do have the remake of the game on my Series S, so I may try it again. Maybe.
Brooo... your still my favorite gaming youtuber. Keep up the awesome content!!!
So the funny thing about alien isolation without dying is I got it by total accident. I was playing on nightmare and instead of letting the alien kill me when I know I'm dead I would revert to last save, so because I did that every time and never actually died I managed to get it
Yeah haha, that cheese is how I got the achievement one of the two times I unlocked it. Not gonna say no to doing it the smart way haha
I’m glad CZcams recommended your videos to me from the start. I look forward to much more suffering, and if you do achievements with viewers, I volunteer as tribute!
😂 bloody love all your videos, can wait for the next one
I recently found you on gears 1 and I loved watching your content ever since, I have watched almost all of your videos and can't wait for another one to be uploaded. Recently after watching your video I have done gears 1 on insane around 6 times and on the journey to do gears 2 next. Gl snams I hope you keep up the good content, and pls keep doing the gears franchise and you could might even do the assassins creed franchise. I personally love assassins creed and the ezio collection.
Haven't watched it yet and I know you did a good job on this one 👍
Ayy I’ll take it LOL
Love your videos keep it up :)
I actually quite enjoyed Akumu, had about 3 or 4 playthroughs and decided to go for it and aside from a few breakpoints, the key ones being the start, cabin and the gondola. It was quite simple, I'd probably put it high b or low A personally.
My S tier achievement recommendation for you would be LASO Halo MCC, that was a journey of pain for myself.
I’ve done quite a few of these achievements myself, including Left 4 Dead 2 expert realism (with one friend) and all radiance in Hollow Knight, and I just wanted to say that I 1000% agree with your take on all radiance. I’ve been playing hard games for 20 years, and nothing comes close to radiance-difficulty Absolute Radiance. Even after beating all other radiance fights and steel soul 100%, it still took two weeks, three hours a night, to beat AbsRad once. Hearing you express your own struggle with AbsRad made me relive that insane dopamine rush from my own victory against that beast.
One thing I’d add to your justification on AbsRad is that the bastard screams at you and flashbangs you with a bright white title card before *every single attempt.* It made the grind so much harder than other fights, like built in sensory depravation before being thrown to a shark.
That said, if anybody out there is gearing up for their own steel soul 100% run, I would strongly recommend actually giving radiance or attuned runs in the pantheon a try first. Bosses are the main (and basically the only) choke points in the run, so practicing harder versions of the bosses than what you’ll face will make steel soul pretty doable, easy even. Remember as well that the “fragile charms” are very powerful in steel soul because death is off the table anyway. Best of luck!
Loved the video!!
I tried expert realism once I’m never ever going to put myself through that again. I salute the fact that you didn’t give up
would love to see you do some more hollow knight ! and if nothing is too difficult then go for radiance... again!
congrats on this year on youtube, i wish you many more succesful ones
I don't see many people talking about it here - congrats on radiant godhome man. That thing is brutal. Honestly my most annoying boss to radiant was actually the Obblobbles.
This is the first time watching this video, are you still working on Wolfenstein 2, Super meatboy, and DMC 5? I love your content and it's always enjoyable watching you conquer your challenges. May you conquer even more this year.
Oh man, I was so sure Pantheon 5 would be an automatic S-tier, that is a brutal achievement. I think you have a warped view of it due to playing it for so many months getting those zero hit boss runs done :P.
Nice list though, I’ve got a few of the higher ones.
I truly think I’m the only person in the world that thinks of Panth 5 that way. Bosses were soooo easy after beating them on radiant
Some of these are absolutely insane and the fact you get them all with a smile on your face is even more impressive xD
great video man, was surprised to see celeste not in the S tier lol, some of those c sides scarred me
As someone who watches every vid but doesn't have the most amazing memory I really appreciate you editing in clips and references to vods instead of just talking head over the tier list
Snam I'd love to see you go for the crypt of the necrodancer plat, I'm kinda attempting it too and i need that mental boost to get through the challange!
Man I’d honestly be so down if I had the time. From what I hear it takes like 1000 hours to even get good enough to even attempt that lol. Good luck on your attempts though man, it’ll be so fucking sick of you end up completing it!
Great vid and congrats on making a year with your sanity intact?
I still need to do Akumu mode but i watch that video to inspire me to do it eventually.
Im also planning to do MGSV soon. Have you tried the MGS2's achievements? The VR missions were very tedious and they get ridiculous towards the end.
This gives me hope for myself to complete several of the games I haven't on this list. Akumu mode and MGSV are the most daunting.
I can't believe you did this one deathless! Proud of you buddy
I usually find these tierlist videos to be exceptionally boring.
Well, you got the achievement for making one that's super entertaining as well!
Good luck on future runs! Really looking forward to the DMC5 one.
Awesome job my friend
L4d2 expert on realism is hell, took me 2 days to beat one campaign with 3 friends. Can’t imagine doing it by yourself
I enjoy Dead Space 2 so thoroughly, that I replay Hard To The Core every so often. It’s literally just playing the game, and not even on the most difficult settings. Max upgrades on The Pulse Gun and Line Gun, with Contact Gun equipped just to sell its ammo. And choosing your save points is crucial. Don’t save too early. But go ahead and wait for your third save for right before the Eye machine. I feel like if you love that game, it’s the best way to play. You have second highest difficulty enemies, highest difficulty resources, and a less arduous permadeath. Love it.
The L4D2 playthrough is probably my favorite video on this channel.
Yoooo sick tier list man, nice and welcome change to your content too 😁
I know exactly what DMC 5 achievement you will go after. And I wish you good luck. Also, I recommend a tough Achievement.
From Darkest Dungeon, "In the old road, we found our redemption", for finishing the game and taking the starting characters the game gives you to the final battle. That, or the one for beating "Stygian mode".
This is a gem of a video for hardcore fans
Yo man, really appreciate the effort put into this video.
Not how I thought the list would go thought akuma mode would be s tier too but then seeing the hollow radiant achievement that’s fair enough. Looking forward too seeing the completion of the alien one though you’ve got this. Was a fun and interesting tierlist
Man. I have to agree with placement of Bioshock Infinite.
I did this achievement a month ago because I was doing whole series 100% and my God this achievement was a nightmare. I was about to rage quit it out of just pure annoyance but I am glad I push through this horrible achievement. Like 1999 difficulty feels like baby mode compare to this one.
I manged to do entire L4D2 100% on Steam. Didn't do solo expert but still that game is hard as hell. Congrats on doing it solo.
Other one I did 100% was Portal 2 being my second ever 100% after Portal 1. That one wasn't hard really but again gotta give credit for trying solo.
I can't really comment on other games since I haven't done them 100% but all I can say is that the list is impressive.
I can't wait for Super Meat Boy
Devil May Cry 5 and everything else you do. Keep up the good work!
Doing every boss on Radiant in Hollow Knight definitely took some years off my life. Most of them weren’t too bad imo, but Radiant Absolute Radiance and Markoth were insane.
The only thing that I’d put above that was doing everything in Doom Eternal on Ultra Nightmare without any super weapons or chaingun shield. All campaigns and all Master Levels. That was a several month long affair.
Radiant Radiance took me longer than all the other bosses combined 😭 Also holy shit grats on the crazy Doom challenge too!
Currently throwing myself at the wall that is Radiant Absolute Radiance
It’s honestly stupid how hard it is, it makes Radiant Markoth, Radiant GPZ and Radiant Obblobles look easy
I remember doing realism expert with friends for a few months, we finished one campaign. I understand your struggle LOL
Hollow Knight being featured 3 times, speaks volumes about the game (2x A and one S). It is meant to be that hard.
I have been speedrunning this game for over 2 years now. As a Pantheon Specialist who has done all sorts of no-hit challenges, I can say that It is absolutely brutal and unforgiving, and that's what I love about it. Super Hard but fair.
I love showing off my 112% Steelheart save with all people still in Dirtmouth, all Radiant Pantheons, and Hall of God fights. Hat off to you old chap.
Snam became a real Knight and a better Gamer through those challenges.
About your comment on Gears of War being easier with a friend, a few years ago a friend and I decided to play every installment together on Insane.
Playing with a friend is useful as long as your friend isn't ass at Gears, which he was, and it took us 6 months to beat all 5 mainline games and Judgement. It was a complete hair pulling nightmare.
We then decided to do Halo 2 on co-op with 8 skulls on, which took another 4 months. I'm not even going to bother describing that.
Also about Alien: Isolation, playing on PS4 my main problems were fighting the weird controls and frame drops, not the enemies.
Vanquish’s challenge 6 achievement was definitely the hardest one I had to get, spent like one week to unlock it 😅
Halo MC LASO might be an S tier if you get around to it. Absolutely brutal
Been loving your videos, saw the left 4 dead tier and would be awesome for you to try the Untouchables achievement
Oh man I really wish you had a Celeste video out there for me to watch. Hands down one of my favourite games. If you wanted to torture yourself even more, the Farewell expansion is some of the hardest but most rewarding content in the entire game, and adds a bunch of new gameplay elements and introduces yet another ‘new’ mechanic that’s entirely based off the core move set. There aren’t any trophies for it unfortunately though, only on the PC version I believe! But it’s still 100% worth giving a shot
