What’s gold about this song is that it gives the player the feeling you are somewhere else new and dangerous, you don’t know what could happen and you just lost Ku. At first this song never got my attention only when I finished the game I came back to hear it again and oh my the beautiful emotional sadness is crazy.
Oh yes, as stated in the video, I believe Ku’s theme is what plays is because Ku is all that’s on Ori’s mind... they are constantly worrying about if she is safe, where she is, etc.
If I was separated from any of my siblings I would feel the same way.

This is what I love about such beautifully crafted soundtracks (as well as books, video games, etc.): you can listen to them for hours and always discover something new.
Also, isn't 8:00 some leitmotif? I feel like I recognize it.
If I have one criticism to the videos, it's that the annotations sometimes fade in too slowly (I want to read them as soon as they come up).
I agree 8:00 was some kind of theme... I couldn’t quite place it.

Getting back to this, I feel like 8:00 is some kind of variation of The Light of Nibel theme.. listen to the G# transition to the E then D# then l noticed that sounds a lot like the Light of Nibel theme
