I have tried to play note for note what the drums are doing. As you can see I am reading my own transcription from my ipad. It isn't perfectly played but I played as close as I could until I got a decent enough take! How do you tune your toms?
I try to just tune the lugs equally and get a similar pitch to the toms in the recording. Top head slightly looser than the bottom.
What’s the bass drum rhythm?
I'm playing off beat 16th notes between the hi-hat
